BUT

...if it was a life or death situation I would obviously choose one of them to stay alive...and I'd go with chocolate. Especially if it was chocolate ice cream

Although, maybe it's just that I don't like American chocolate - which is so often hard, and basically just sugar and wax. If it's really good, really high-quality chocolate, then it's OK. :3 But, since I most often get American chocolate, I actually get mad when I eat it, and it just ends up all stuck in my teeth, and I can't get it out.

 

My question is; Of all the dolls you own how many are modified or completely customized from the original sculpt?

 

Three...? No wait, four actually. But only smaller modifications ~

First off is Sibel, who is a sleeping littlefee Luna faceplate that I modded to have open eyes (more like ante's eyes)

Then we have Melba, who I made ears for ~


She has three faceplates , one of them with modded eyes like dreaming/half open eyes (all three have the modded ears)



Then we have Pocca who also has three faceplates. Two, open eyes and sleeping, are her original faceplates and then I have one that I got later, that I modded to have one open eye, like winking

Oh that's tough. Maybe Sleetwealth Vanessa? Or Doll Chateau Irma? Or there's a recentish sculpt that I can't remember the name or sculptor right now but it has like... faces and flowers coming out of the eye and going down one side of the face.

I will take a pic of my current state of dolls (spoiler: a mess) when I get home. I don't have a Wednesday, but I do have a Friday!

Hard to pick just one, but I think it would be my vinyl ichimatsu dolls. They're sort of one? I have a whole bunch of the same sculpt. Growing up mixed-race white & Japanese, I never had dolls that looked like me as a little girl. I've been making up for it as an adult!

I've actually gotten most of my grails. Both Brigh and Turtle were once grails for me. I can't think of any sculpt right now that I couldn't acquire in a fairly short period of time if really I decided to put my doll money in that direction.

Well strawberries then. I love chocolate, and okay chocolate is better than okay strawberries, but if we're talking the best? Strawberries 100%

Finished dolls - only Squee, my PKF Pong, and she just has fangs added, no other changes. I have some floating heads with various amounts of modding done, but that's it.

 

@Dustbunnie I definitely prefer chocolate to strawberries. I love many fruits but I'm not a big fan of strawberries.

@Serdtse Um, of all my dolls Allaster has an eye opening, Sven has light lip sanding, Jasper has his chin sanded lightly, Sapphira has a light nose sanding, and I have a floating head I'm where in the middle of an extreme nose sanding / reshaping. Most of the mods are very subtle and don't change the overall look of the sculpts very much (I even forget they are modified).

What are the most extreme sizes of dolls you know of? (tiniest and biggest)

My biggest doll is my Dollshe Van, who is on a Rhythmos body, so he is actually a bit taller than 70cm -closer to 71 or 72 maybe. And then my smallest is my Luts Tiny Delf Kai centuar, who is 16cm. Although, the centaur body makes her a little shorter than that, I'm pretty sure. :P
Although I don't think I've ever photographed them together!

My largest and smallest, Claudette (Dollmore Lusion Dahlia) and my RealPuki Aki sitting in her hand. My Cuartos Darkhorn snuck in the pic because she lives in Claudette's lap. I would have needed a ladder to take a non-blurry pic with a smaller aperture (Claudette lives on top of my doll cabinets), so I just took two

Uggghhhh I really want a tardigrade soooo badly! DX I had been saving all my doll funds up for a specific purchase though, and just made it recently, so I'm all cleaned out now and can't afford it. *a thousand tears*

Back in May my sister stumbled upon some kittens in a box in our garage. I think they were about a month to a month and half old at the time. We ended up keeping one. He appears to be a siamese mix. There were four total. Two with the siamese coloring and two that were all black.

Yes, I was finally ready to get a new cat. About three years ago my previous cat disappeared. We believe someone may have taken him.

 

One thing I am curious about is when the number of members online shows up at the bottom of the homepage there is a certain number of 'robot spies'. What is the significance of that?
