    2. Not my own doll but I've had someone send heads over for faceup and despite it being airmail, the doll heads still took months to reach. It was from Canada to Singapore. They did arrive in the end though, after much waiting.

Are you waiting on something? Is it sent by airmail or sea (aka surface mail)? I know surface mail takes much longer. Though it also depends on where you're located.

    3. Longest I've waited for a doll was around six to seven months. It's pretty average to wait 3-5 months for a doll if you pre ordered one. Now if one was in stock and it's been two months... contact your vendor.

    4. I think they mean that their doll has been in the mail for a couple months, which is pretty abnormal.

Does your doll have a tracking number? Have there been updates on tracking in those two months, or does the package seem to not be moving at all?

    5. For me it was once more than 4-6 months, I mean real delivery, but that was because vendor sent the package not only to the wrong country, but to the wrong continent and later have to redirect it:aninja:. Did you check that your track number says the right city/country? May not be the reason, but after my situation it is worth to ask..

    6. I had a doll get stuck in shipping and finally arrived after 3 months, it was sent airmail from Alice’s. I tried several different international parcel tracking websites to get more accurate information on where it was.

    7. Yes, CP/Fairyland routinely takes 5 months between ordering and receiving a BJD. It's happened multiple times.
They make BJDs in BIG batches which is why it takes so very long. The waiting is still hard to manage!
If your BJD is supposed to be en route, I suggest checking on it.

    8. I've had long delays in shipping from specific countries (Italy and Spain) but those were second hand items. Sometimes shipping from Canada to the US is mysteriously slow. And I once had a package from a Dealer take a trip from the UK to South America before traveling up to me in California... that took a few months.

    9. I had. I had dolls shipped from the dealer in May and they arrived in August. Dealer was in the UK I am in Germany, so not much of a distance but it was short after the Brexit and UPS continued to scan the parcel every day in a location 3 hours from here therefore I wasn't able to file a complain for the majority of time.

If it isn't scanned for a time file a claim.

    10. I have had a doll take a month and a half. It was close to Christmas and it got stuck in customs. It’s so painful to seethe tracking not update. I would suggest speaking to the company or person who sent it out. They can sometimes be able to context the delivery company to see what’s going on. It’s unusual for something to take a long time, though like previously said if it’s going by land travel it will take longer. I work for a company that imports and ship travel is pretty bad right now depending on what route the ship takes.

I hope your dolly comes soon!

    11. I had an Impldoll I ordered through Alice that took 3 months to arrive after shipping, from China to US via....I think it was EMS? It's been a few years. But she did arrive safely after not updating for nearly two months.

    12. I just got a shipping notice for something from Alice's and it says about Airmail:

This is without taking customs into account which also take a while, especially in this season. I am pretty sure you will still get your package! It's a very busy time post-black-friday and pre-christmas so things tend to lag a lot.

    13. I’d say my average wait time for a new doll is 2 months; my longest wait was 15 months.

    14. Not the same as waiting for the doll to show up after being shipped.

    15. Nope, is surely isn’t. I think my longest ship time was 3 weeks when a doll was delayed due to a freak snowstorm.

    16. yes. Myou doll from ACBJD. She send via airmail to UK on the 20th of September. I have contacted royal mail and they said it very likely it has been lost.

not pre order - this is after the doll being sent.

last update on the tracking was on the 5th of October, saying it arrived in the destination country and then, after that, it only tracks back to the 22nd of September and nothing. :atremblin

wow you're luck it was able to redirect. yes mine had all correct address

Oh really? when was posted and did arrived? Maybe there's still hope! however royal mail said it might be lost because it has passed too long...

      wow!

unfortunately I cant file a claim, it has to be Alice but she says she cant...

thanks. Yeah I never had this bad before.

Again. thanks! It might still arrive! But I dont want to have my hopes up....
