Mar 18, 2020

    1. He came today! Hopefully your boy will be right on his heels! Good luck! <3 <3 <3

    2. my kakeru arrived today! two months to the day since he shipped, and he is in perfect condition.

      • x 1
    3. Mine’s still just dispatch from outward office of exchange, but it never tends to update over the weekend anyway, so I’m going to stay positive. :D

    4. Finally got my boy! After 2 months and a week! Hopefully the Japan EMS has started to move a bit faster. I’ve got another boy that was recently posted.

    5. Yesterday received an answer from Russian post representative in social media.
One of my packages was sent from Russia by seller in March, 25 was transferred to Warsaw on April, 15 and no any news since then. I’m in Japan by the way.
      Tracking information stopped on:

      Prepared for shipment from Russia
      05 April 2020, 23:01 102972, Sharapovo

I lost my hope to find packages from Russia someday. :(

    6. Packages from South Korea was finally shipped after 2 months of waiting.
Couple of Russian packages suddenly appeared in Europe after three months of waiting.

      Finger crossed

    7. @Eva Brown It so good to hear that your parcels from Russia are moving. I hope you don't have to wait for much longer.

    8. FINALLY my doll that was sent back to China arrived to AC. She's been stuck in limbo since April. 30th.

I thought she was lost since the last update said it was untrackable. :eusa_pray

Another doll I'm waiting on has cleared customs, but has been stalled for about three weeks in Ontario.

      • x 1
    9. Great that the doll's not lost! If it's any comfort, NYC and Chicago take 1-2 weeks for customs for me lately and the 4-5 hour trip by car from NYC takes 5 days!

    10. Hello, everyone! :)
I've been reading your experiences and I want to share my situation too (just to take it out of my chest).
I'm waiting for 2 packages from Japan and 1 from Russia (all of them EMS); and a package will be sent to me on Monday from the UK.

My first package from Japan has "Arrival at outward office of exchange" status since June 22nd.
The second package from Japan has "Posting/Collection" since July 7th.
My package from Russia has "Pre-Shipment" status since July 8th.

I know 2 of them are very recent, but now that I've read your comments, I know that this will take time.
We will see how they move, including the other package from UK.

    11. My package from Korea was stuck at “International item processed in originating country” for 10 days. I thought maybe they didn’t scan it in but it updated to “Ready for Dispatch” yesterday. Its now en route to Canada :dance

      Hope customs isn’t too bad.

    12. I have three packages coming from Russia and after a long time not updating they all say:
'RULED, Rossiya, Russian Fereration. shipped by carrier'
I'm hoping this means they are finally on their way to Australia!

      • x 1
    13. How long is a long time? Were they with no update for weeks? months? I want to mentalize myself because I'm waiting a package from Russia.

    14. @~A*K~ Two were sent in June with EMS (8th and 11th) the other was airmail (tracking number was given in April but was received by the post office on the 6th of may).

    15. My package from acbjd thats been stuck in China since May 21st*_*. I hope it arrives soon.

    16. I have stopped buying from Russia. I'm on the east coast of the US. After little or no packages for months, Friday and Saturday I got a body and wig from China, a suit from California, 2 pairs of pants from South Korea, and 3 pairs of pants from Belarus. It was so amazing!
For me, South Korea has been the best, and China and Japan the slowest.

    17. Thank you! I hope your packages arrive soon.

    18. Anyone else having problems with extremely slow shipping? I know with the corona virus, things get stalled. I shipped a package from USA to Spain over 6 weeks ago, and it still has not arrived. I had a small package mailed from Korea to USA via USPS priority express. It has been stuck in US customs since July 2nd? For "express" mail! So, would I consider these items lost? Has anyone else had these issues lately? So frustrated...

      • x 1
    19. I've sent a small priority airmail to Canada from Poland in Europe over a month ago and there are still no status updates since leaving Poland. I'm getting anxious since it should've been there in a week, maybe two.
Even within Europe, parcels that would usually take less than 4 days took almost 2 weeks (but at least they arrived safely)

I don't know what it looks like now in the US but I'm joining this discussion with that similar problem I've mentioned.

    20. From what I've heard from other people and experienced a little myself, packages often seem to be taking at least twice as long to arrive as they did before covid. It took me a month to receive a package in Canada that was shipped from the US. Packages travelling further abroad are often taking 2 months and more. Even express packages are severely delayed.

    21. I seem to be having a problem with 2 parcels at the moment - one from Thailand and one from Japan. They have both been in transit for over a month each. The tracking that I have for them says to give extra time because of Covid slowing things down - however I've had multiple packages from China and Korea in the last few months still arrive within a reasonable time so I am beginning to worry.
It might be worth getting in touch with the postal service that are delivering your parcel and asking about it - I've had it in the past where a parcel has just been missed and giving them a call is what helped them check and get it back on track.

    22. As far as the USPS, their website definitely says that Priority and Express mail guaranteed arrival times are currently suspended, and to expect delays. I shipped a package via Priority Mail to China last month, and it took over a month to arrive. Same for a package I sent to Sweden - that was almost 2 months.

Definitely don't assume they are lost just yet - some packages might get through the system like normal, but at this point, "normal" shipping times are basically abnormal now. :sweat

    23. I have two from Russia, shipped in March and early April, and still not here. Tracking shows nothing since end of April

    24. I would guess that they are not lost, hang in there. Things can just be really delayed.
US customs seems to be taking a week or more to process packages.
I have not had any packages to/from Spain or Canada, but I have 3 small packages from Russia that shipped in April and are only now moving again.

      Edit:
@Kimmera Try your tracking numbers again! As said above, I am in the same boat and I just received new updates this week. Try using 17Track. My tracking numbers were showing as expired on 17Track, but they are still working. The USPS site did not show these latest updates. I hope you have updates too!

    25. I just received two parcels from Russia, they arrived on the same day and took 10 weeks.
      Things are moving very slowly.

    26. There are backlogs. Capacity at mail handling facilities is down due to reduced staff because of social distancing. Also, a lot of mail travels on passenger planes and flights have been cancelled because people aren't travelling. Despite that I've gotten packages here in Canada from the US, South Korea and China in a reasonable time frame. In fact I recently bought two different pairs of shoes from China and they both got here in less than two weeks. I was shocked to see them in the mailbox. But then there's one item from Hong Kong that I've been waiting on since March.

    27. YES! Thank You! They hit the US on the 11th!

    28. I placed three orders from Russia within one week back in March (I live in the US). Two arrived safely, while the third is still stuck somewhere. On my end, the tracking numbers haven't updated since they were "released from customs" back in March, but according to the sellers, the packages were/are progressing. I've placed many orders from Russia and have never had this problem before.

    29. Finally first post from Russia arrived, 100 days in delivery, several countries through all way. Box and goods in perfect condition.

    34. I've also had some packages returned to sender in Hong Kong and then reshipped with lesser used couriers. I also had a package from Japan (not doll related) sent by ship when Japan post stopped shipping. They shipped out April and arrived just last week so yeah things are capital S slow right now but it can't be helped.

    35. I ordered 3 packages from russia. Two small envelopes and one a head.... 2 envelopes (eyes) came within a month or less. The head... Its still in russia and has only moved to 2 cities not far from the original destination... And now hasn't updated since the fourth... I feel everybody's pain.. I have another doll im waiting on but he hasnt shipped yet so im nervous about the shipping on him... However the packages i got from korea how shipped quick! I got them in 2 weeks.

    36. So... My package from Russia and my package from England are being prepared to leave those countries.
But my 2 packages from Japan have no updates and those orders were placed before. Should I contact the stores or just keep waiting?

    37. @~A*K~ , Honestly, might check?. Most recent (July 17th) updates from Japan Post are that they still aren't even accepting non-DHL packages for many countries, but a lot of sellers arn't even trying to ship right now.
I ordered some figure kits from a Japanese seller as I thought restrictions on mail from Japan were lifted and Japanpost is back to not accepting parcels to the US right now. Could easily be a lot of shops with orders on hold regardless of the receiving country.

    38. Thank you! I'll contact them :)

    39. EMS and postal service are extremely slow now! Use DHL if you need to do an international shipping. Me and my friend got several parcels from China to US. They only took few days to arrive.

    40. Incoming mini rant ~

I am not sending anymore packages through USPS or government channels if I can help it. I understand COVID has made things a lot harder for everyone but my issues with receiving mail were going on long before the pandemic. I sent one of my grail heads to an artist in Canada and it's now being returned to me. *insert stress of worrying it will make it back safely*

From now on I will gladly pay a premium for FedEx or UPS. The stress of USPS losing another package is too much and their customer service is a black hole. No more!

    41. Sorry to read that. I hope your head gets back safely.

    42. Yes, a black hole for me too.
I have been happily getting dhl packages lately. They are great unless they hand off to USPS. But when that happened I still had dhl customer service to advocate for me.

    43. little bit of lamenting on a package from alice collections... i know I should probably just contact their customer service but I always feel terrible bugging people about shipping times because I worked both in the postal service and in customer service so I know how it is >.<

i'm waiting on a few packages that I ordered back in april, one from alice collections, and a few from aliexpress of random fabrics and trimmings and such.. the alice one finally shipped on june 7th (it was some clothes and shoes), so it probably took a while to make since i have no idea if the stuff was in stock or not, but as of june 9th the tracking just says handed over to the airline transport (on EMS it says it left the sorting facility). USPS is still in preshipment/on its way.... blugh. I'm not sure what asking ACBJD about it could do though? especially with the US in such a state of flux ...more than usual.

one of my long awaited packages from ali of UV gels arrived about two weeks ago, and then two days ago some trim finally arrived after the same lack of tracking so at least I can make some eyes and finish off a dress, but it always seems whenever I order shoes a package just disappears into thin air *_* theres sill another one from ali that has a tracking number that doesn't work but I'm a little less worried about that, it'll make it's way to me one day (hopefully). I just want those darn shoes!

    44. My package from acbjd was shipped in May and I finally got a tracking update in July if that helps.:pout:

    45. I find that my EMS orders from China languish in airports waiting for flights. Also many in Beijing Airport then go through the same delay when they are shipped to Shanghai Airport which flies here. Every once in a while I get a package direct from Beijing, just to confuse me. I wonder if they just send excess packages on to Shanghai because they don't have a place to store them. But this is all conjecture.

      • x 3
    46. I hope it gets to you soon!! I'm a little tiny bit relieved to hear someones in the same situation as me, it's kinda frustrating when you keep seeing "shipping times not affected" but ... they really are ahahah

      • x 2
    47. Ordered from ACBJD end of May and it just made it to the airport. "Handed over to airline"... Let the waiting begin.

Update for my April Story package:
After spending 10 days at the Korean post office, 3 days at the airport, and another 10 days in limbo customs. Its finally with Canadian post. So close!

    48. For those ordering from ACBJD, I hope you'll get your package soon. I ordered two doll stands in June and they did arrive to the US.

    49. Updates :D

My oldest package (from Japan) finally changed to "Dispatch from outward office of exchange". It took like a month to change status, so I'm calculating that the other package from Japan will update once a month has passed.
My package from Russia arrived to New York! Let's see how long it will take to leave there.
And my package from the UK is still "leaving the UK".

Clicking the refresh button finally gave some results, haha.

    50. My doll from AC that was rejected by customs FINALLY made it home! She must've been in the mail for at least four months or so.

      I'm so happy! :dance

    51. Hi everyone! When I read your stories it makes me hopeful - but also hopeless - with my own situation.

I got packages sent from the US (I'm in Canada) that arrived safely and quickly. A few were delayed (especially from Asia) but often the seller just waited to send it because they knew they'd get stuck so they just waited. And I'm starting to receive them all at the same time!!!

But then there's a doll I purchase from someone in Australia. It was shipped on april 28, and left Australia on may 8... Since then, no update! I know Canada Post is super swamped, so I don't want to be the annoying custommer (and truth is I'm very patient and comprehensive)...

I'm just worried. What if it was lost?

      • x 1
    52. I'd get in touch. Patience sometimes isn't a virtue. I once ordered a doll head that shipped to HI (I'm in Massachusetts USA). The company didn't tell me it shipped and I was patiently thinking they would send it with another head I bought later. They made the shipper pay for it and made me another. I realized I should have been less patient!

      • x 2
    53. i should probably get in touch with Canada Post. I have a tracking number, so I know the item was shipped... and the seller forgot to include the coa, so she sent it separately and it arrived super quickly... so yea each day I’m a little bit more worried

      • x 1
    54. Well, it seems the parcel never left Australia.... It looks like it's lost.

I contacted Canada Post and it was never scanned. So I contacted the seller so maybe she can try Australia post from her side... I tried to fill a request on their website but I can't even change the country on the form, so I think she'll have more luck by phone. But I need to rely on her from here and I mean, she already got my money, she could totally just ignore my messages. I'm super worried.

      • x 1
    55. I know that it's silly just to type "don't worry" because it won't help, but I'm hoping that this seller will help you. I've had the luck to deal with kind sellers, and I think everyone should experience that. Let's wait for some positive update. :)

      • x 2
    56. Thank you @~A*K~
I haven’t lost all hope. I checked on the Australia post website, and in the general info it says there are still delays for Canada, up to 12 week (which brings us to this week)... But I can’t get any specific info on my parcel.

Canada post told me the service with Australia was never suspended, so I don’t know if they have any clue what’s going on...

    57. I've had all of my International packages come very late since this all started, except for a package from Souldoll (Seoul) that came EMS in 3 days. That was at the beginning of May. I want to place a clothing order with Iplehouse, also in Seoul, and am wondering if South Korea is still shipping EMS and if packages are still arriving quickly. If anyone who lives in the US has ordered from Iplehouse recently, I'd love to hear your experience!

I ship daily, frequently International, and my sent packages are taking about a month to arrive, where it used to take a week to 10 days. In the US, it's taking 3 weeks to infinity for packages from Europe to arrive to New York or Chicago customs, but then just a few days from then to arrive to me in St. Louis. A frustrating thing about packages from Europe is that USPS will often change the tracking number once the item arrives in the US. You can normally find the new tracking number once the package arrives, by checking details on 17Track, then track with the new tracking number. At that point, in my experience, the package just has to clear Customs, and is just a couple of days away.

    58. I have a package shipping domestically from inside the US, its last scan was "Picked up by USPS" on the 15th, and it was set to arrive on the 20th - it hasn't been scanned once since the 15th.

I tried to call the post office it was dropped off at, but they're not answering their phone at all.

I called my local post office, and a nearby post office to the one that's not answering, and all they've said is "it's probably moving, just very slowly"...

      :(
