DearMine Doll Dear Shine Line

I just received my twin Dearmine Diana F heads today without notice as well from Dear Mine. They are absolutely gorgeous in person even as blank heads. Can't wait to have them send out for faceup up. Please pardon the phone quality picture.

I am currently still waiting for the right coloured eyes for one of my girls before sending them off for faceup. In the meantime, I have just put one of the girls on the SDGR body and used a handphone app to apply lashes and blush to the head for fun. I think this head is really very beautiful even with very light faceup I think

Wow, yagamijo..., you lucky thing...2 Diana heads, and thank you for posting your blank head pics, they are beautiful just as they are! I love your graphic edit with the blushing and lashes...too cute. Wow, those ears are even more amazing than I could have imagined...seeing them in blank they really are beautifully detailed!

Finally had chance open Dear Mine package. Have more blank, wigged and eyed Diana. Bad lightning, but it's winter and so dark.

Her name will be Angela. Orginally planned wig is still on the way, but I think this wig suit pretty good also.

 

I caved on the last day and ordered a blank Diana head for myself. I am really looking forward to seeing how everyone paints theirs! :3 Now to get comfy for my impatient wait since I'm at the end of the line. Heh

Not yet, but looking forward to it. Paid my Diana J Rose off together with my Dune last week so now I'm in for the real wait My girl could be without a body for a while but at least I have a couple of wigs I can try out on her for size. I have no idea what I'm going to use for her eyes yet but at least I have a few glass eyes to experiment with for the time being too.

 

I'm glad to hear you were able to paid her off now and hopefully it won't be to long of a wait for you Jenkat. It's ok I'm just anxious to see more pics of these girls and what everyone does with them^^

 

Hi I just wanted to share my Dinah's new dress I just got for her.

 

Woohoo, my girl has just shipped! She will have to share a body for a while till I can get one for herself, but I'm so excited I just don't care right now. XD I can't wait to see her in person and start sewing her wardrobe. :3

Do you have a body for your girl yet? I know when my girl arrives she's probably going to stay a floating head for a while but I look forward to finally seeing her in person.

Well, still waiting for my girl's head at the moment but at least I can now say I am no longer trying to decide on a body for her.I found a NS Volks SDGR Girls' body going locally from a seller who was offering layaway so I am now officially waiting on my girl's body too.

 

Ok, well, despite the fact I currently do not yet have her body, I finally have some photos of my lovely Diana, Catherine Bell, to share with you. She has a lovely pair of urethane 18mm eyes now care of MakoEye's new V3 Amaryllis range (far superior and more what you'd expect in a urethane eye than they V1 & V2 eyes), plus she's been trying on a pair of lovely new wigs.

Hello, hope I'm not intruding! I recently bought a Diana J.Rose head from the MP, and I'll hopefully recieve it in a few weeks. I'm not sure how she will look, but I'm already excited, she'll be my first SD!
I'm very, very puzzled as what body to put her on. According to Thinkpink (Who had a head in stock with some details on) The fine normal skin matches Doll Factory's normal skin very well, and somewhat well with Infinitidoll. I'm leaning towards an Infiniti doll body, as it looks like my Dear Mine Lover, but I can't figure out whether they're out of business or not.

By the way, on Dear mine's site, it only says Diana's head is 9-10 inches. Can anyone tell me if they're 9.1 inches or something, because their MSD's are on the smaller side of 7-8 wigs. I'm asking because I'd like to know if she'd look bobbleheaded on slim sd bodies, if I find one

 

JenKat - She looks fantastic in the pink? wig, but the blue has its charms too. It's such a versatile faceup!

PotatoMash - Several months ago, InfinityDoll said they had an issue keeping up with orders due to i believe a production issue and closed to new orders until they could catch up. I think there's a message somewhere on the site about it, might be in notices? Sadly though I haven't heard anything about when they will reopen. I do hope it's somewhat soon though, as I too would really like to order some bodies from them.

PotatoMash, congratulations on your Diana head When it comes to resin colour, the benefit of these girls being a match for Volks Normal is that there are plenty of companies other than Volks that match for resin colour. There's Dreaming Doll & Sadol to name a couple...and sorry to hear about InfinityDoll not being an option at the moment. My reason for choosing, however, to end up eventually going for a second hand Volks SDGr Girls body was mainly poseability, clothing / footwear fit information available, clothing and footwear availability, & accessories that are made to fit it (such as SQ labs' wonderful range of hands).

As for head size, these girls with their 9" heads are a good match for 8-9 & 9-10" wigs, from what I have tried on my girl. I have tried 7 different wigs in a range of these sizes and had no issues. However, I always put silicone wig caps on my dolls so this helps too with fit on the slightly larger wigs. Hope that helps =^-^=

 

Macarontea - Agh, really? That's a shame, I would've loved a body from infiniti doll as I do prefer bodies with the torso joint sort of hidden. Some dolls I like to make weird poses, some I like just to dress up and to be pretty, lol. My future Diana is for being pretty, but perhaps I'll need to look for other bodies.

JenKat - Thanks! I'm looking for wigs, and can't really seem to decide how I want her to look, but I'll be cheeky and ask where you've gotten the peachy one in the first picture? She looks gorgeous in it. Not sure if I'll be willing to get a curly wig, I just don't...Me and wigs with curls just don't work together, so I might have to pass it up, but I'm curious where you've got it, maybe have something for me, lol.

Jenkat - Ahh, I would've never guessed it was that wig <.< I practically raided leekeworld and other bigger wig companies to find it ! I might find one at luts too but I'm really really digging the color of your wig, and I'm afraid the luts peachy colors will be darker than what I want. Perhaps she'll end up a redhead instead, but at least I've narrowed it down from a bunch of colors to two now.

I'm still trying to figure out what body I'd prefer for my Diana head, but I was wondering if anyone could do a resin match between her and a NS minifee? I'm not counting on the match to be very good, but I'd love to see it, as I really do like the feeple60 body and would like it if I could use that for the head. Any NS Fairyland would do, as new as possible of course, I'd be very grateful if anyone could provide pictures

 

So, hopefully it won't be long before customs release my Diana head, and I've been super extremely original and she has been named - Diana - So far. (I know, I'm...Not good at names when I get used to using the sculpt name <.<)
I recently saw Dear Mine write on facebook, about the new body for Diana and I asked whether the heads from christmas could be used or not, and I got a yes So, while I'm sure Dear Mine will release some super gorgeous fullset I feel that I'll need to own, I think I'll simply get Diana a body. I hope it comes with a tail...And high heels.
Once the customs are done with her, I'll post a picture of my newest addition

I really want a Diana wonder if DearMine will offer her as a full doll - head with body, or just the body .... !! I kicked myself several times for not ordering her LE head when I had the chance >.<

 

News are up on Dear Mine notice page! They'll release a fullset Diana! I feel like screaming but I'll use exclamation marks instead, oh no, I want her as a fullset, ugh!

 

I cannot wait to see the body! Crossing my fingers that she will have some nice paws.

 

Just now getting caught up on DearMine news to see the upcoming Diana body is in the works. Figures now that I finally just found a Sd16 body for mine. XD I still want to see this new body though, I'm quiet anxious to see what the hands/paws may look like and if there is a tail option.

 

I finally have my Diana J.Rose put together at last! Let me introduce you all to Fiona, I ended up putting her on a Volks SD16 body. ^_^

 

MacaronTea, she's beautiful! I love the J. Rose face-up I suppose the benefit of having her on a Volks body is the many clothing options available! When you get a chance, I'd love to see a full body picture of her!

My Diana finally came in! She's quite bland right now, but I like her. She's so big though, and she's only a head. (Obviously speaking as a first time SD-owner )
And her ears, they're so big! Everything about is so huge, gah! Now, enough of my ranting, here's a little picture of her



I'm also super excited to see what the Dear Mine fullset of her will look like, and when the body will be released, since I won't be able to afford the fullset. Kicking myself for other companies 'stealing' my money, but in hindsight, I'll probably survive, lol. Enjoy the Diana goodness!

My Angela is still blank, but well at least you see how the head fits on Dreaming doll body. It looks on camera good match, but in reality there is some difference (sorry, i'm not very good photographer).

Excited to see DearMine SD body! Only sad thing is that body will be on sale 28th day and I'm going traveling for a month after 26th day. Just so my luck...

 

Good photo, chibi-kagu! As much as I love my Diana with her limited default J Rose face-up, I actually wish I had ordered a blank version of her head as well. I look forward until she's available in blank form as I think she would be great to see customized!

Ooo, just saw an updated note from Dearmine saying the new Dear Shine body will be available by itself in Normal Skin to match the limited release Diana Rose heads and will be available from June 28th to July 31st. Ok, now I really really want to see what the new Dear Shine girl body looks like!!!!

I'm extremely excited to see Diana's body released. The impatient part of me is disappointed that it won't be shown on the 14th with the rest of the new releases, but two weeks isn't that long of a wait!

 

Just over a week now until the new Dearshine body is unveiled! Is anyone else desperate just to catch a glimpse of it at least so that we can start to guess what kind of treat we are in for this time?

I really love the new Diana sooo far I hope the body is really nice cuz I am so tempted to get one.

 

Well, I've gone and put through my layaway request for the Dear Shine body. I just saw strung tail as opposed to magnetic and I knew it would be a must. My past experience with larger hearvier SD tails such as Pipos' size L tail parts is that that the heavier they are the harder they are to keep in place / stop from falling off when it comes to magnets...but a strung tail! Brilliant =^-^= So, by the looks of it, the attachment method is not unlike the Pipos Pi cat tails (speaking from experience with my Cheshire).

I actually really love this body despite the lack of a torso joint, it has a beautiful soft sculptural quality. I was comparing it side by side with pictures of the Sadol Love 60 body with its non-jointed torso and I think I prefer the fit of the shoulder on the DearShine body but, agreeing with you on the hips a bit there Razzy, the rounder hip socket of the Love 60 over the sharper edge of the Dearshine hip socket. However, this isn't that dissimilar to the Dear Lover hip socket when you look at it.

I also love that, although I again love the sculptural look of the fused heel foot / leg part in the Love 60, I think I prefer the jointed heel foot part of the Dearshine body.
