Maintenance Dear SD restringing?

    1. I just received a Volks Dear SD girl in the mail. She was a bit dirty, so I took her apart and cleaned the parts, but now I'm confused about how Dear SDs are strung?
      I've restrung many dolls before, but I've never seen anything like this before. Is the elastic supposed to cross in the hip joint area?

    4. It confused me at first (I took mine appart to dye them to mtch off-topic heads)

      The elastic comes down into the hip socket, into the top of the hip piece, then out through the side hole in the hip piece, through the hole between the hip sockets into the other socket, in through the side hole of the other hip piece and down the other leg.

      I hope that makes sense
