Specific Doll DD Tamaki vs DD Ruri comparison?

    1. Hi! I noticed DD Tamaki and Ruri have similar sculpts, but I was wondering about their differences. I would love to see a comparison of their heads!

      If possible, I would like to see an eyeless comparison or at least DD Ruri without her default eyes. Both factory or custom faceup (or blank) for either is ok!

    2. While not perfect comparisons, I did find old Mandarake listings for both heads with turnarounds that might help.

      Tamaki head
      Ruri head

      There's a really clear front shot of Ruri if you Google ルリ ドルフィードリーム ヘッド but the link for the site is totally messed up so I can't share it directly lol.

      If it's the prominent kitty mouth you're after, Ranka, Akira, and Karin have it too but with more open eye shapes. :whee:

      I love kitty mouth girls, thank you for the suggestions! Karin in particular is really pretty and Akira is so cute! I was actually interested in Tamaki because she is a bit more mature looking but shes old, rare, and popular so I was thinking Ruri might make a good alternative since they look pretty similar.

      I've always liked Tamaki for the same reason. Volks USA had Akira in stock not super long ago so she's a bit easier to find around these days. Karin is interesting and tends to look a lot different in owner photos to me but I really like it. I'm curious what Ruri looks like without her default too and how they would compare.

      Japanese Instagram and Twitter users will sometimes have a lot of photos of the limited girls if you don't mind digging around!
