      Briefly describe your entry's concept:
Considering that dark pastels can easily look smudgy, I was geading for something light and yet intense. I love the characters of Chinese Artist ZaoDao who are very expressive in a subtle way. they usually have messy dark eyebrows and bkushed cheeks and noses. I've wanted to paint a doll like that for a while and took the chance here …

Entry type: (faceup, tattoo, body blushing)
      faceup

      Materials used:
pastels, airbrush sealer, Fimo gloss, black watercolor pencil, airbrush (only for sealing)
cotton wool, cotton swabs, brushes, tissue,
white glue for the lashes, eyelashes,
      protection: respirator, cotton gloves

      Doll company & head sculpt:

Briefly describe your entry's concept: I didn't really go with a concept per se, more just a train of thought. My little flower faerie Hyacinthe is based off the plant of the same name so I wanted her colour scheme to be reminiscent of that. As this was also a "back to basics" themed challenge I decided to try out the initial idea I had for her blushing back when I still only dreamed of buying her.

Entry type: Face up and body blushing (what little there is).

Materials used: Mr Super Clear UV Cut Flat (with appropriate mask and filter), Mungyo dry pastels, Faber-Castell water colour pencil #437.

Doll company & head sculpt: Creature's Dolls Pollen
