Custom House (AiDolls) Petite Ai 30cm and Ange Ai 27cm Discussion Part 3

I just read a pop-up notice on the Luts website that they are now going to be producing the old CH/Ai dolls-- apparently they are merging so anyone looking for these sculpts I suggest stalking the Luts website lol

It lools like they already have two of the CH/Ai sculpts up fyi.

 

The Honey Delf sculpts are now up. But they are named a little bit confusing.

Honey Delf Gabriël seems to be the old CH Gaby sculpt, NOT CH Gabriël

CH Nari, CH Hanael and CH Gabriël are mine, the other pictures are from Flickr.

It also looks like they are less detailed/refined. They are very simlar in shape to the old Ange sculpts, but it looks like the details have worn away over time.

They also released pictures of the new Honey Delf body type 5. It is not an old CH body, but is absolutely adorable!

 

I think Hani and Gaby are adorable even if they aren't exactly as refined so I'm putting them on my wish list. Anyone else thinking of ordering any of them?

 

They are still adorable yes I think Hani looks still quite detailed, it's a beautiful sculpt! Especially Uri and Gaby look a bit less refined. Uri is still on my wishlist, so I'm defenitely considering her! But first I want Baby Delf Gabriël

Regarding the new Honey Delf body..actually, the leg system looks similar to CH's. Which is great, because that was what I liked about the CH body.

 

Ordered a HD Gaby I have a CH Ange Gaby and a Petite Gabriel, so I'll do a comparison once she gets here.

 

That "trade-in" offer is tempting! I have so many CH kids, I'm deciding if I need another from Luts!

 

I'm very tempted by the trade in offer as well! I had Hani on my list for a while, so now would be a great time to get her. The Luts body is very nice as well. Going to have to think this over a bit, but I may just go for it! I haven't bought a doll in over a year, so my doll budget can handle it.

 

Here is my Gabriel and Hanael.. We are very excited about Luts acquiring Customhouse molds and hope they produce some of the less common ones again!

hello guys!
I have so many doubts about these new aidolls produced for luts.
I remember was very upset to know that I could not find new petite Uriel or Gabrïelle...(or what is her name).
But luts mold have the names of these two dolls I wish but as stated above, the molds are different. I wonder if they will release really the mold old of Uriel and Gabriel or Gabrielle?? Whats her name? Do you have a photo of youe own doll Gabrielle? i cant find many pics of her !

I wonder if we requests to Luts about adding Uriel and Gabrielle molds, they will listen to us?

but Im a bit confused about this "gabrielle" in this photo... (the girl with long black hair in the photo...
I cant find other pics of her that are just like in this photo I ve posted. I like herexactly like in this photo. What mean CH (?) gabrielle? What stand for that CH? (I believe is 'CH' the abbreviations to describe maybe the type of body?
Where I can find the old petite ai Gabrielle like this?

CH is actually the abbreviation of Aidolls' old company name (Custom House). Your best bet for finding an old Custom House/Aidolls doll/body is the second-hand marketplace here on DoA.

 

Yep! I just found an ange ai Uri/Island Doll hybrid on there....they arrive today! Are they ok to post in this thread?

Btw what I would like to do is to request to Luts if they intend to do in future more sculpts of custom house like the *actual * Gabriel or uriel I surely want to try these new ch dolls from luts... and who knows, in future, a gabriell from second hand you never know.. (but to be honest, all the dolls that I get by second hand (#2) was very scary that the doll could have damages or ruin boxes ect... the second hand is usually my very last hope! XD

Congrats Psiliconic! I'm glad to see more interest in CH - they were my first 'real' bjd's and I'm hoping to replace some I wasn't able to keep. Does anyone know which one of the new Luts bodies is closest in size to the original Ange bodies? Sharing clothes is nice

 

Sadly it sounds like my darned school is so slow with packages that even though he was delivered, I won't see him until tomorrow.

 

Contributing to the 'I wish Luts would make again ....' list: I'd love to see Rafael Elf and the little Bisous again. I can't believe I sold my Rafael Elf fs but had to be done.

 

I sold my Petite Ais to a dear friend who missed hers. I still have my Ange Ais and my Bisou cuties.

@soulcalibur33 The Gabriël with the long hair in the picture is my friends Gabriël. The Gabriël with the short dark hair is mine Below another picture of them together. They are the same sculpt, just styled different, and mine is more yellowed. CH stands indeed for CustomHouse. Their line was called Petite Ai. The dolls on Luts site are the Ange Ai versions. If you want the Petite Gabriël your best chance is second hand I'm afraid. Asking Luts is also a good idea. I hope you will be able to find her! She has such a sweet face

The old gabriel's show up on Yahoo!Japan pretty frequently. There was one up earlier this week, but it was like $270, which I would consider way too much. Normally they sell somewhere in the $70-$200 range. Next time I see one I'll PM you

If we unite and show them how we like these molds, they can do it! If they have done already 3 or 4 molds, why dont make also the others? We can do this!

I got a shipping notice for my Luts/CH Gabrielle yesterday. Hopefully she'll be here before Friday, and I'll have the weekend to spam her.

My little guy still hasn't gone for his faceup nor has his wig been finished....but I made him a wig that isn't his style, I was experimenting. Here he is modeling it. I made the cap for his actual wig and im going to send him for his face over the next week!

The body is very well engineered...she stands very solidly, and can hold many poses. I think the likeness to the old Ange Gaby is very strong. Her torso joint is higher than the Ange kids, and her hands are pretty large...they're larger than my other Honey Delfs, and way larger than the Ange hands. Much closer to petite size. Her forearms are also thicker than standard HD's, but I may try to get a spare pair of HD hands and see if they look better.

New faces released in the Luts versions of the CH faces: Raphael, Sunny, and Pin.

Made me realize that my darling Raffy girl, Katie, is the Ange version of Raphael. Quite a "doh!" moment for me, there.

 

The Luts Raphael seems to have a different eye shape from the original Raphael and Raffy. I think I'm happy with my originals.

But Sunny is adorable!

 

I think I'd like to order her in the light tan, to have a darker version, but she's not limited so no rush.

The eye shape looks pretty similar to Katie's

 

That picture does look the same. Maybe it was the angle some pictures were taken at. It looked like they had dropped the outside corner in some.

 

Could also be the faceup on the model doll. Anyway, she's on my list

 

Hello all. How exciting that Luts have reintroduced some of the CH sculpts. I adore CH and can see myself adding little Raffy to my family. I am not familiar with the Luts resin colours. @clochette Your Leeloo is adorable! Is she light tan resin?

Leeloo is their realskin brown color, it's the tan you can get without an upcharge. I'm thinking for Raphael I'll go a little darker and get one of the tan colors.

The Summer Event Kid Delf head also seems to be an old CH head
Pin looks a lot like the real CH Uriël. Something about it is off for me, but maybe it's just the face-up.

 

She is very cute, but in my opinion - and if someone else is agree with this - should email luts and let them know to change face up artist or change colors that the face up - artists seems to love too much and exagerate with this color!
In my opinion all the dolls of luts with CH sculpts have this pinkish-red face up color that is very strong.They all looks like they have have the 40 degree temperature! Could they make a face up less pinkish? I think I will again email them. (they already listen to my request of some months ago and added the scults and size I asked them! This time I'll ask them to change colors of face up... use less strong pink >_<

Anyway, in any case she is beautiful and I can accept also that face up colors, but I would be happy at 99,9%. If they do the face up less pink I would be happy at 100,1%!
Btw maybe is the picture but in presence she looks less 'red pinkish' around the eyes especially? The eyes both above and upper part looks too pink red too ><

Yeah, they're pretty heavy handed with the blush, but that's not a problem limited to Luts. It's more red-orange than pink, at least on the tan. I'm not sure if they do any custom changes to faceups without an upcharge, to be honest, but it really doesn't bother me that much. It doesn't hurt to ask them.

 

@Sodabeentjes I like a lot the black long wig exactly like this in the photo (please expand the quote above here)... do you know /can you ask your friend what model and brand is this one?
