Crochet Crochet - Flower Accent

Here's a little something from me, sorry if it has already been posted, but I haven't been able to look through all the patterns here! It's not my own, I got it from EmoraDesigns on youtube, I just wrote it out. It makes a very pretty accent!

Rose/Flower Crochet Pattern

DC - Double Crochet
HDC - Half Double Crochet
SC - Single Crochet
SS - Slip Stitch
C - Chain

Base:
C4
9 DC in first chain
SS in fourth chain (to complete the round)
*C3, skip 1 and then DC, SS* repeat to get 5 repetitions of the pattern
Go back into the first with SS, C1, **SC, HDC, DC4, HDC, SC** (all done in the 3 chain space loop you've made)
**repeat all the way around. Do NOT SS into next stitch
Go back to the first skipped DC in the previous row to SS
C5, SS into next skipped DC, repeat to round (make 5 more loops)
C1, **SC, HDC, DC5, HDC, SC** repeat to complete the round
SC into first stitch and knot to close

Center:
C11
DC3 in fourth chain from hook
DC3 in next chain and repeat to end (it will start to curl on itself)
roll into a bud and attach to center of the base
