Crochet Crochet - Fingerless Gloves

Jun 21, 2011

    1. Here is a link to a great crocheted fingerless glove pattern. It took me about an hour and a half to make both, from start to finish. To make them doll-sized, I used tatting thread and a size 6/1.0mm crochet hook. Just do what she says to adjust the pattern: your starting chain should be a multiple of six that matches the circumference of your doll's palm at its widest point. Since it's made flat and then seamed, you can adjust the size of the thumb hole as you wish. For some doll hands, depending on finger position, it might be easiest to take their hands off to get these on. Mine can actually slip on and off while the hands are attached, but it takes patience and care. These will be lovely embellished with gears for my lady's Steampunk outfit. FYI, my model is an Iplehouse Amy.
