Crocheted capelet I made this for a friend's Angel Region Cien as a Secret Santa present. My model isn't a BJD, but she's the only 43cm doll I own currently. Yarn: cotton yarn for the body, wobbly eyelash yarn for the "fur" lining. Hook: F/5-3.75mm Stitch: Single chain This is my first time writing out one of my patterns, so please forgive me. I was basically making this up as I went. 1) Chain 21, turn. 2) On third stitch, increase by one. Continue. At center, increase by one again. Continue. When 4 stitches from end, increase by one again. Continue to end and turn. 3) Repeat step 2 until long enough to cover the doll's shoulders (about 7-9 rows) 4) After turn, sc all the way across, no increasing. Fasten off when capelet reaches desired length, typically just below the elbow. 5) For the fur lining, sc around the outside of the capelet for 2 rows. For the clasp, I braided more of the cotton yarn, making a 3 inch tie. This can be substituted with a button-and-loop clasp or a ribbon woven into the fabric.
