Aesthetics Critique my newest face up please? [nsfw doll nudity?]

    1. hi there! I would like a critique on my face-up and tattoo [though it is MUCH older then the current face up] please.

      I would like to someday be good at these and so I need as much critique as possible.

      I don't mind harshness since I am here to learn. I'm an illustrator, I've been through the critique world many times. xD

    2. I personally think that the face up looks good. It may be the brush size but it does look slightly heavy handed on the lower lashes and the eyebrow. I like the shadow for the eyes and the subtle blush on the cheeks. As for the Tattoo it looks great! I know for me painting on resin dolls is difficult since I'm so used to a flat surface. -also an illustrator- Did you use a pearl powder on the chest tattoo or is that just lighting?

      And yeah I totally agree. Painting on dolls are hard when you are used to a flat surface.

    4. Hey there! This looks pretty good but it would be helpful to see it at more angles, and maybe with the hair brushed away from the eyebrows to get a better look at them. I agree that the dark line on the lower eyelid seems somewhat heavy.

    6. oh I hope it is ok to make a new post! [If not, I'm very sorry] but I was actually really dissatisfied with the last face up and decided to try once again tonight and I think I finally hit a break through!

    7. I love the tattoo but I agree the lower lids are a bit heavy handed perhaps a different color? I think maybe it's just the bright orange...

    8. I quite like your last face-up, looks nice. The only thing I'd say is that the lid line fold is maybe a bit too thick, from the pictures it looks nearly as thick as the eyebrow.
      Maybe making it a little thinner (it is just a fold after all) will give the eye a more delicate look :)
