Oh no..I didn't realize there are such floods and all up there (here in Poland in several places we also have some floods due to rain, but not that bad like there)

 

I could see if they made her faceup OOAK or even her face sculpt (though I hope not) but I find it hard to believe they would go through the effort of creating a whole new body if they weren't gonna eventually release the line ...
All I can say is my fingers are crossed 'cause that new SID guy has me in the SD game now and I'd love for this girl to be his ...

 

ehm let me correct myself : I think her faceup and outfit is OOAK. because THIS is what's based on the painting. but I am personnaly pretty sure this face sculpt and mostly the body will be released for sale ^^ but I don't think they would sell her in fullset as we see her now. unless, as I said, they made a deal with the artist :3

Oh that is so sad to hear about the floods in S. Korea, I hope things improve for them soon. It has certainly been a crazy year for weather world wide. I could see about the full set being OOAK for the girl, though I am still hoping not, because now I have fallen for her over the last week of looking at her and talking about her, lol. I still like the sculpt though and when feeple 65 came out I thought I might eventually want one when new sculpts or ala carte was available with feeple 70 heads too. I think I was one of few that didn't care for the feeple chloe mold and not as fond of elf ears on the bigger dolls, though still thought she was beautiful as a whole. I guess we'll see and learn patience and for now just hope that all over at FL are okay!

Hmm I wonder what they will do with her, if she is OOAK?? Auction her? Keep her? Gif her to Victoria??

Also, I had not heard of the flood... :c I hope everyone is okay! And there isn't too much damage!
We just had a serious flood here too, so I can kinda relate...

 

Well I am pretty sure that Victoria will have one for herself ..but I don't think they would share her that much on their FL blog....and there's too much interest in her to not make her for sale...maybe the fullset will be limited, but I agree Ban Sidhe that creating a whole new body just for OOAK sale would be to much. And I really hope the sculpt and body will get on basic sale..I don't have to have the outfit, wig, wings and her faceup.

Well, I'm still gonna hope for a fullset release. Seeing as I love everything about her ^^. Basic would work too I suppose, but fullset would be a dream . Anywho... Hoping for the best, so I already started saving to help my parents out come information/release time... I have $300 to contribute now, so, I'm uber happy that I could essentially pay almost half if they gave us a fullset ^^

 

Yay bjdnewbie! It's tough to save for a doll that has no release date. You've got a lot more willpower than I do! I hope they release her as a fullset so you can get her. I'm rooting for you

Any news on this yet? I realize a lot is going on over there right now, so it may take a while.

 

No new news so far... I have been regularly checking twitter, the FL site, and image blog, hoping there might be some sort of news or at least a tweet before the holiday.

 

yea! i'm late to the parteh once again :P but O M G i just found my GRAIL doll and i HOPE she comes as basic (w/out that stinky tear) because i wont be able to order her until next years tax returns. if she comes as a limited i'm gonna cry...

 

Well welcome anyway jennspeaks! I know how you feel, she's so stinking perfect... And the tear is even starting to grow on me too (unless of course there's the option of not having it, then it'll be "tear? What tear?" lol). I'm bouncing waiting for news. But as of right now all we can really do is keep everyone over there in our prayers that they're safe. I can't wait for news though, any kind of news, just closure on what their plans are for her XD

I've thought this out and if this is not a doll that FairyLand is releasing... If this is just a tribute to Victoria Frances... There's no reason to come up with a new sculpt, right? I mean it would have been easy enough to make OOAK clothes and wings for a MiniFee or even come up with a new faceplate for a FeePle65, right?

Plus FairyLand's English translator has been hinting that a 60cm doll has been in the works for some time. SO... That makes me believe that she is a new line of doll that will be announced and available soon.

So soon that I put some dolls and parts up for grabs to help pay for her. I also showed her to my husband who really likes her so now I'm clear to order her as soon as she's available!

 

Is anyone else using an iPad and the formatting disappears when you post? I mean, the separation between paragraphs is just GONE!

Napria, I guess I tend to agree, that it seems like a lot of effort for just one doll, knowing how much goes into making one, and that to make even a single doll designed after a Victoria Francis character would need to take some sort of agreement with the original artist. I figured that they probably already have some sort of agreement in place with the artist to be able to produce an inspired doll (and hopefully in a 60cm size!). I guess just my speculation though and I'm still hoping for a full release doll too!

So, after the holiday? Okay... It's the first? So I'm gonna say about seven more days... Surely they wouldn't keep us all dangling any longer XD. I'm so hoping for news on release dates and price... That way I can really crack down and earn money.

From what I understand C. P. LOVES us (FairyLand doll owners) and always wants to give us more, but FairyLand has to rein him in or they'll go out of business as he gives us free gifts and keeps the prices on dolls less than what it costs to make them.

 

that's what I said Napria - why make a WHOLE NEW BODY for a OOAK doll? I can see if they did that with the VF faceup or even face sculpt (which I hope against) but eventually they'd have to release some other faces for that new body ...

I just put 2 of my dolls up for sale to pay for her... if they even sell :P *crosses fingers* And she is an SD so I'm all OMGWEEHEHE 'cause I was looking for an SD sized girl in the first place. Then there she was. My second and last doll if they release her for people to buy Then I get to blow all my paychecks on clothing :P Hehe!

 

I have no idea yet how I'm gonna afford to pay for this girl...I'm seriously thinking of going through my room and trying to sell things I don't either need or use anymore. God knows I could probably make quite a bit with my books, DVDs and Video Games I don't use anymore.

And why are they making us wait so long for news?! The wait is killing me!

 

I would suggest perhaps you cross that bridge when we get to it, there is no point worrying too much about it until there's some sort of information.

They obviously can't give us any news for one reason or another so don't stress about it too much, I think we can safely say they're not doing it just to upset people *lol*

 

Hehe, I have been contemplating the same thing, where to find the funds in the event she goes for sale. Will have to be layaway for sure, but I will figure out something! I can't wait to hear some news, but trying to be patient, because I know it may still be a couple weeks yet. They love the teaser photos at FL, but I guess it makes it more exciting for us fans!

I dunno how I am gonna buy her yet (I has like 100$ and it goes so so slowly), I am going for vacation this Sunday, hubby said no help from him (and I am unemployed)...MP is slow too. Gonna rob a bank or smth if she will be limited. If she will be basic too, I will save up as long as I have to with no worries

 

That was quick napria! I haven't even listed anything yet! I have a couple non-bjds that I want to list, but taking photos and listing on ebay is such a pain that I always put it off and avoid.

Fairyland posted a notice about going on holiday through Aug 7th today, but made no mention of announcements about the new girl. No news on twitter either, just mention by the English twitter CS person that she/he will e-mail CP to try and get information about when an announcement might be made.

LOL, I actually work full time as a social worker, not just habitually check twitter and FL site like it probably seems...
