CP & Fairyland Doll Project For Display At Comic-Con

Jul 15, 2011

    1. I just had a thought too (as I was once again drooling over the promo pics). Do you guys think she's gonna get a sleeping head? All the other dolls have one and I'd really like to get one for this girl too...*drools* She's just so pretty!

    2. Hmm if she does come as basic I doubt that she would not have a sleeping head ;)
(sorry for bad gramma x'D I'm tired)

    3. End of Comic-Con is tomorrow at 5 pm! Eagerly awaiting news.

    4. Was any news/pictures posted about the doll standing beside the project girl? :o Did I miss it? I'm still very interested in more information concerning the other.

    5. I've been keeping myself away from this thread to avoid foaming at the mouth, but yessssss, I knew it! :D Oh thank you CP for sculpting an SD size MNF active line body!! Years of waiting and hoping have finally paid off! I really hope they offer that body at least in basic dolls, and I'm also hoping there's a CP style boy the same size. Preferably with muscled and non-muscled versions like the MNF boys. Also hoping for multiple bust size options for the girls~

      *fangirlish squee* :whee:

I can't wait for the official announcement and body photos. I'll just die if it's a one-off. Gah!
Now please excuse me as I run off and dance for joy in an embarrassingly clumsy manner.

    6. Any new information, pleeeeease?

    7. The Black Butler Doll was limited to sale in Japan for copyright reasons. As such they never displayed it in the U.S. I'm hoping since this doll was presented at Comic Con it will eventually be for sale here in the U.S.

Yes, FeePle65 was FairyLand's (temporary) answer to a 65cm SD. But they always hinted that they would eventually come out with a 60cm SD. I'm thinking they are working out legal issues and with the radically differently engineered FeePle65s they just may have hit the mark.

My big question is does this doll have a faceplate? That's one of the things I love about the FeePle65s, and if she does I think it would bode well for a full-scale general release.

    8. Ooooh I hope she have a faceplate! : D My friend have Littlefees and Minifees and I must say I like the littlefees faceplates more! x'D (kinda hoping that minifee someday will have it too, but what ever ;) )

    9. I'm on the fence about faceplates myself. I don't actually own a doll that has one, though my friend has a few. I have two Minifees though and I do like their heads...gotta love Fairyland for their easy to remove heads.

In a doll this size, personally I'd prefer a headcap myself, just because I have visions of the faceplate falling off. If there's a headcap, that's least likely to happen, especially with wigs keeping things in place. But really, I guess it depends on how Fairyland decides to have the faceplate connect to the rest of the head.

I'm also curious to know whether this girl is gonna be like the Littlefee's in respect to the hands and feet. I love the fact that on LTF you can exchanged the hands and feet so easily. I hope this girl has magnetic hands and feet as well, but with the LTF locking mechanism.

    10. When FairyLand introduced FeePle65 they wrote the following on their Imageblog:

"When FeePle70 was being developed, certain things that we wanted to do with sculpts could not be incorporated because we had to consider the compatibility with CP's existing 60cm doll line-up. We wanted to do more with FeePle65, and we aimed to create sculpts that are close to perfection by obtaining valuable data from joints being used by MiniFee, Pukipuki, LittleFee, PukiFee and Chic Line.

Our goals included having Mag-on system incorporated into the head, back, hands and feet, Easy Eject systems, advantages of using faceplate systems, easy interchangeable parts and creating natural posing of the body... and we were able to challenge and clear one goal at a time to reach where we are now."

So I think any new line will only improve upon what they have already developed.

As far as faceplates falling off goes, I have PukiPukis, PukiFees, LittleFees and a FeePle65 who all have removable faceplates and MiniFees and a FeePle65 who have the Easy Eject Head System. I prefer the FeePle65 who has the combination of both. On all FairyLand's dolls that have the faceplates, there is a place on both the faceplate and the head where magnets can be installed. I have found that only one of my dolls has needed the magnets and the magnets work perfectly for her.

    11. I think I want a head, too, as long as it's easy-on, easy-off like the minifee heads.

I think that fairyland's engineering is just so spectacular that no matter WHAT they do, we will be thrilled, not disappointed, excited, etc!! I am excited. I want her. I hope she's available. Already thinking of faceups.....

    12. Oh wow : D If she have all that, then she is a must have!!! Can't wait for more! X3
Always loved fairyland XD Hoping for burst option change too... :P

    13. Id haveta agree with you. In person her head looked a lil too big for her body..maybe it was the wig but I dunno, I just got the same impression.

    14. I know, hehe. Me too. And my husband has me shut up here in Resin Rehab *sigh*

    15. if I remember correctly, I did take pictures of the other project dolls too. Sorry been a looooong weekend at comic con. I'll be posting them in the gallery this week. Ill post the link in this thread when I do ^^

    16. I just went back in the thread and looked at all the pictures again. I'm not sure if I'm seeing a faceplate seam or if it's her wig.

And yeah. That wig is definitely too far back.

    17. I think I would prefer a head this time, working like type 2 delfs. As much as I like faceplates at littlefees, I would prefer a type 2 system here also because if they would make this line in basic, I could exchange my lishe's body into this new one someday!! :)

    18. Has anyone else noticed the shoulder joints in FairyLand's Imageblog photos? Look at the 5th picture down. http://dollfairyland.tistory.com/106

And Pauline, I really think the head is a combination of the easy eject system with faceplate.

    19. Napria - even if I still will want her so badly :) but then..I guess she can be restrund with type two system, like some people did with feeple 65 chloe's body to put the soom head on...but even if not, that's fine :)

    20. Actually it was her shoulder joint that had me thinking she was a Feeple when we were discussing whether or not she was a Minifee.

I'm still dying for news on this girl...is it sad that I'm haunting DOA hoping that every time this thread updates, it's case someone's heard something? :sweat

    21. what I would like to know the best that if she is going to be only limited or also in basic...basic would give me a peace in saving up, limited will make me cry - I am debating what I can sell to raise money, but knowing how slow MP can be - I dunno if I am gonna make it anyway. I talked with hubby who is rather not supporting my hobby, he said eventually he will be able to add me something, but not more then 1/4 of the price. So if she will be limited (fingers crossed that NOT), I have like 1% of chance lol

and I am affraid that FL won't tell before full package sale if she is gonna be basic too or not...I hope they will answer my begging I send to them in email for infos before 3rd and that they will tell us that she also will be basic

    22. LOL! I'm haunting too! But we need to wait unfortunately. Hopefully there will be an update today or at least an answer to inquiries.

    23. I don't think there will be anything today... (in my timezone at least) because it's Sunday....

I have been refreshing and updating this thread ever since the end... Never ever shut down my computer x'D (stand by but not shut down...) So I guess I'm haunting too XD

    24. cp delf girls have that shoulder joint thingie that looks just like this (see Libertine's?) so for a while I thought she was maybe a new delf - but then people were talking about her under-the-bust joint, which CP delfs do NOT have, hence we all figuring this is an entirely new body. and of course hearing she's 60cm too...

I'm haunting DOA, too. I'm just DYING to hear more about her and if we can get her!

    25. Hmm Looking at your photo Sher, the new girls collar bones are also much more define :)

    26. Oh, you're right that is a FeePle shoulder. I don't have a FeePle, Chicline or RealPuki, so I'm not as familiar with those bodies. I thought the shoulder was from C-line so I checked those photos but didnt think to look at FeePle. That's kind of taking a step back, isn't it? What kind of mobility do you get with that shoulder that you wouldn't get with the other kind?

EDIT: derp. I forgot to go on to read te next page before posting. Thanks for the photo Sher. I didn't realize Delf shoulders were like that too. All my dolls are Fairyland and I don't remember seeing bare doll shoulders at meet ups.

And I'm right there with all of you, stalking this thread ^_^

    27. I also don't get what the shoulder joints add to the posability of the doll x'D
I once played with a Delf girl, and I didn't see a difference from my own dollies.... Hmm x'D

Anyone who can enlighten me? :)

    28. I'd like to know too! I had a delf boy and I seriously don't get the point

    29. I'm really hoping she'll come in basic as well just because I don't think I'd be able to save up enough in time to get her if she's limited...and then, of course, I run into the problem of her faceup. I really like it, I do, but I have plans for something different for her and I couldn't wipe her faceup if it came to it. I wouldn't feel right wiping something that's limited. Although I would love to have her outfit. Wish they'd let you order the doll and the outfit without the faceup...:sigh

    30. She is so beautiful, I love her outfit, her face reminds me a bit of my Soulkid Miryu, how she looks a bit sad, can't wait to see more pictures of her.

    31. Elruesta - like I would hear myself...I definitely won't be able to save up quickly, so she HAVE TO BE basic ..otherwise...no chance for me..and I don't want her faceup, tough it's pretty, cause I don't plan any fantasy stylization for her...that means I also don't want the outfit (though yet again - it's pretty)

    32. agree!! most of the time I wouldn't actually feel bad about wiping it off because a lot of faceups on limited dolls have nothing special, but in some case, it's really nice :0

    33. Well I do really like this faceup...but it's just not what I'm thinking of for this doll...so wiping it would be hard. But we'll just have to wait and see. It all depends on money, whether I'm willing to pay it just to get the outfit and whether or not they do a basic version.

    34. I still think Neve's wig should be in a very pale white blonde or white.... but the color is too dark =(

    35. well I would prefer her blank and naked and they could make an extra high heel feet for her.

still dunno how I would want her to look, what hair and all, but I know she would a dancer :)

    36. Iiiih it's Monday here now ^___^ !!
I hope Fairyland soon will gif us info : D

According to their page, they will open at 10 am (Korean time), and right now it is almost 9 am :D

    37. Yay! :D Maybe this means we'll hear something before I have to go to bed...it's 10:30 pm here.

    38. I have to go to bed now :( but in my experience companies answer emails before 12am in my contry... It's 3am now ;) hope to see updates when i awake again :)

    39. Popping in, oh so late here, but I heard about all this through a friend and I must say I am in love with this girl ^^. I feel a tad strange just dropping in so late in the game, but I can't hold my peace any longer, I had to share how much i'm liking this girl with others XD

    40. No news yet today. :( I was hoping for some, but guess we have to wait longer.

    41. Ah they're killing me with this wait. I'm seriously contemplating buying a MNF body for one of my floating heads but this girl could change my plans, and I certainly do not feel nice being tortured for so long X_X hoping Fairyland will take pity on us and give us a little more info! I'm mostly very eager to see photos of the naked body so I could compare with Delf.

    42. they replied....................................

I am gonna die in this wait for info...........:doh

    43. lol in other words "we will post the information everywhere humanly possible so we don't continue to receive questions" teehee they are always so nice about it though!

      *twiddles thumbs*

    44. lol yeah they are nicely torturing us ;)

    45. Sorry a little late on this So excuse me for a second....

A NEW SD?!?! Oh why FairyLand? WHYYY!? Tempting me with your pretty dollies. *sobs*
      "Waaaaa!!!!"

      *clears throat*

      *straightens up*

So I'm not a fan of her face but I want that body! If it is a 60cm I'm hoping I could pop on my AE Solstice head on it. Hm....

    46. so how many times have they rehearsed "no comment, stop asking. no comment, stop asking. no comment, stop asking...."

    47. Fairyland mantra

I know we briefly touched on this a few pages back but if she becomes part of a new line, what do we suppose they will call it? Yeeple? No I don't suppose that would fit in with the fee suffix would it? Hmmm... Yummyfee? Teaserfee? Nya-nya-you-can't-have-her-fee?

    48. Superfee? XD Feebig? Bigfee? :P
      I have no idea XD

    49. ...why no new news?! :| At least they're polite about it but seriously, the wait is killing me. I really wanna know how much she's gonna be so I can budget cause I love her so much there's no way I can't not get her. (excuse poor grammer)

Maybe they'll stick with what they've been doing and call them Feeple 60. Like they have the Feeple 65 and 70. Also I think they should call this mold Neve since the name has kinda stuck with me now :sweat

    50. minifee60 *woooooosh*

I don't know. she just look so much like a minifee!

    51. well if their MSD sized dolls are called minifee, yosd are littlefee, then standard sd sized should be either superfee or biggerfee :D (that would be logical to me)

anyway...I hope they will do some update soon......that's a bummer that CP didnt give FL any news about it yet.

    52. At least we have eachother to keep company in the wait for news :)
I'm kinda hoping for her mold/sculpt name not to be Neve, because I'm starting to call her that, and it might end up as her name x'D I'm normally against calling dolls after their mold/sculpt name....
But then again I could just manipulate the name a bit, like, Nive, Neeve or Nevee. :)

    53. As much as I want more information right now... I am kind of hoping they either tell us her price before they sell her, or don't put her up for sale until August ^^'. I really like her and as of right now, my parents have given me the go to get her... If she's released in August and we have some time to recover from my birthday... Though if they told us the price right now, that would be great, so I can start saving...

    54. Bjdnewbie - I really don't think that Fairyland will wait THAT long IF they release her, almost a year is just way to long in the dollie world x'D
I think if they waited that long, I would not be interested in getting her at all... x'D

But if she comes as basic you can get her anytime you want ;)

    55. How about "PerfectFee"?

I don't care what they call the line or the sculpt. All I care about is whether she's got all the great engineering that went into the FeePle65 line and that she's released... And in basic!

    56. DID anyone here attend Comic Con, and see this girl on display? Please tell us about her!

      :)

    57. Did I say april? This is what happens when I post before going to work XD... I meant August lol. Yup, there's egg on my face ^^'

So yea, August... If my birthday was anywhere near april I wouldn't be money tight right now haha.

    58. Uh, yes, I've posted what I know and pics. I talked extensively to the Yamato reps, and unfortunately they knew very little about BJDs period, much less this specific girl. They did bring her to the meetup, so there should be more pics of her aoon. I gave the reps information about the DOA board and the fandom in general, it was all very new for them.

As to the concept dolls, they're vinyl, so I doubt we'll be able to talk about them here (though you'll see pics of one in the photo thread for the CCI meetup, as they brought one). I can say that they were pretty dang awesome.

    59. I find myself repeatedly looking up the pictures of this girl! I have three MNF, and a few other Fairyland tinies. I don't have an SD size yet, but had been thinking about an eventual FL SD size if they had one a little smaller than 65cm or when they had ala carte and different face sculpts available.... but... I am really liking this girl! I love the full set, but would be interested in her without the blood tear. I like it with the full set, but without it, I could also style her however I want!

No money for dolls at the moment though and I don't really want to sell any of my current BJD's. Hmm.. where to find money in these trying times... I need a higher paying career!

    60. Oo! Where did you post? Or, am I jumping the gun here, and you'll be posting later? Please let us know.
Thank you for your feedback. :)
