CP & Fairyland Doll Project For Display At Comic-Con

Jul 15, 2011

    1. It definitely is, she has the underbust joint...Pam noticed it when she posed her.

Got trapped in the snarl of WB and Hasbro lines today, so I'll try to get someone to go down for me and get pics of her tomorrow.

    2. i have a little bit of a strange request for those that are at sdcc and can get first-hand info on this girl....if possible, can someone confirm her hip jointing? like, does she have mobility joints or is she like the f65 girl and only has locks for sitting?

    3. She's in a glass case and dressed, not actually out and available to handle, so not sure that's something easily found out.

    4. *lol* not really surprised - they would want to protect that girl with so many people around and it seems a lot of people end up with dolls stolen at cons :/

      no touchy touchy!!

    5. Clochette surely they don't allow anyone to touch her now :) but you are so great that still keep us informed.

Lioness By the way I'm not surprised too but it's a pity that we can't see her body echhhh

    6. She is just beautiful. And definitely, judging by the way she's leaning on her hip in one of the photos, she must be jointed like a MNF. And judging by how she slumps she has to be jointed like a MNF on top too! That's one reason why I believed she could've been a MNF before the very helpful confirmation.

Gah she is beautiful but I don't think I'll ever get an SD girl! She is gorgeous though. I wonder if and when FL will sell her. And whether she'll be basic or limited ofcourse! :)

    7. Well, I would prefer a smaller doll, because it's easier to take her outside for pictures and she doesn't occupy so much space at home, but she is so beautiful ecch

    8. Me too - I've debated this internally for days but I just can't get back into SDs, they are too much doll for me and to tell the truth, they are out of my budget. (that includes doll, clothes, shoes, props etc.)
All I can do now is hope that someday FL will release more realistically/maturely sculpted MNFs :(

    9. I'm actually more of a tiny girl however I've never owned a SD and want at least a couple. I probably won't have room for one until I move in with my boyfriend and have my own room for my collectibles and dolls : ) haha

    10. I really don't need another SD girl, but that's not gonna stop me :XD:

I just need a bigger closet! I swear, I must be the only girl who needs more closet space for dolls instead of clothes, loz...

    11. If I kept my dolls in a closet, then I would be on your side Willowrain

I am thinking that I want her cloth, but it is not a must... But hair and eyes are XD
I'm also thinking of giving her Stigmas... Or make her an Oracle x'D

Hoping they will giff more info soon! XD

    12. I wish I didn't have to keep my resin babies in my closet, but with so many animals around, I figured it was better safe then sorry ...and since it's a nice size walk-in, it works well :)

    13. I love her clothes, but they're not so complicated that I can't make something similar myself. The colors don't work for the character I have anyways.

    14. Yes, we can sew similar or even better outfits. You must just believe in yourself. Moreover we can buy a pair of wings here on DOA.
I've bought a similar pair of eyes a month ago here too. So it's not a pb at all.

    15. that's why I wrote earlier that I dont care about her outfit and accessories - not my cup of coffee, I prefer casual style :) But I want the doll !! Come on FL give us the info we need!

    16. I just found this girl a couple of days ago...and I'm in love :D I've been planning to get into SDs and had two dolls picked out for some characters I had in mind, but this girl actually works better then the other I had planned. I was really excited to learn she's probably only about 60cm. I love FL dolls, but I've always found the Feeples to be a little too big for me...but this one sounds perfect.

I hope she comes out in just a basic as well as the set...it would be sad if she were limited. I wouldn't have the heart to wipe a limited faceup and the clothing, though lovely, isn't what I have in mind for my character either. I love just to get her blank...hopefully Fairyland won't keep us in suspense for very long.

    17. Wow I can see that you're a StarTrek fan :) so why a fairy ?
By the way I've loved Spock when I was a child.

    18. quoted from fairyland's twitter:

About the new girl! - We'll be going on a summer holiday from Aug. 3 till Aug. 7, so a news info will be available before OR after this date

I can't wait that long! LOL! now that we know her size, I'm DYING to know if she will be available as a basic, or what??!?!

    19. They are worse than Soom! Soom only teases for a couple days. When you see the teaser pic, you know it's only going to be a few days to a week until you have the full scoop on the doll. This is agony!

    20. I love her! She's very beautiful!

    21. Kapiszonka: Yup. Love the Trek. But I also have other characters planned for dolls. I have a Rose Tyler and Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who as well. As for this lovely new girl, I was planning on making her a Princess Serenity from Sailor Moon...yeah, I know. But I think she'd look gorgeous with a crescent moon on her forehead :)

Sher: Ugh, I can't wait that long either! I really wanna know if she's gonna be available in basic...oh please, oh please, oh please *crosses fingers*

    22. Me either!!! I hope they will update before the date, cause arround Aug. 6 I am going for vacation and I wont have access to the internet there .........crap!!! :[

    23. so we know she's 60 cm (pretty much what we consider "standard" sd sized, yeah?) and has shoulder joints like a lishe, but I think her bust is smaller - AND people think she has a directly-under-the-bust joint like a minifee. if that's true, she will be able to share my mountain of SD-sized stuff for sure - I have stuff for customhouse girls, and they are shorter AND slender, so I should be good to go.

HOPE THEY RELEASE A BASIC! I hope she can come with high heeled feet! and other hands! and and and... LOL...

    24. Yes high heel feet PLEASE. ><

    25. high heel feet are the most important :0 all those pretty SHOOOOOOOOESSS

but really, I'm super ecxited about her! I can't seem to find a good standard SD girl body. and I know CP makes beautiful bodies that pose really well so WEEEEEEEEE *runs in circle*

    26. Wow wow wow did I say this before? This is the Fairyland doll I have been waiting for? Ahhhh I love her :aheartbea

    27. C'mon, Fairyland!!! Info before Aug 3rd! BEFORE!!!

    28. *being optimistic here* Info before august entirely! XD Whee!

I second the "other hand choices!" I want fist hands! : D (they are so cute! X3)

    29. Personally, as much as I'd love more hand options for her and high-heeled feet, I just want her in basic. As long as Fairyland does that, I will be one happy camper

      ...*looks at calendar*

Never thought I'd say this, but why is it still July? Come on August and give me some info!!!

    30. Sher - you read my mind or what? I want her basic with extra high heeled feet and different hands too! and then more molds on this body..and I love that it has smaller boobs!

    31. Hmm I wonder what her mold name will be? :) Any ideas... I'm kinda thinking Neve, like the character she is based on ^^

    32. Updated the opening post with quick ref information, let me know if you think of anything else I can add

invisiblewings - your photo wasn't working anymore?? so I didn't link to your post.

    33. Knibitz - Her link does work... Sometimes, very random... I have had trouble with it too, when I was showing my friends the doll...
You just have to open the "link" or "broken image" or whatever in a new window/tab, or refresh a couple of times :)

    34. You guys are hilarious XD Yes I agree it will be a long wait T__T

    35. Ya she looked SD-ish. I really liked all the concept dolls they had for viewing. I'll be posting more later since I have em on my camera and am unable to upload them at the moment but here is one pic for now ^^

    36. It's true. Pam noticed the joint when she was posing her.

    37. WHAT? Noooooooooooooo! I can't believe there will be more waiting. Hoping the information gets posted before they leave, they said they would post after Comic-Con.:|

    38. Is it just me or does she look slightly bobbleheaded?

    39. I think it's the wig, it's not quite on right (but I could be wrong).

    40. well so maybe it's the highest time that we start to post them about info !

    41. OK kill me, but i send email to them asking for info before their summer holiday and begging to release her in basic XD

    42. *hugs PaulinePol* Yay our hero! XD
Hopefully they will read this thread (do they do that??) and see our agony! XD

    43. I hope they are ;) hehe XD

    44. Ah, she's so lovely! I'm so glad they finally made a doll in this size, and I'm very, very damn curious about that body.

Just a lil' question to all of you though - am I the only foolishly hopeless doll lover who's actually waiting on a boy body of this line? XD

    45. Me too. I have sent them a mail with a question when the doll will be available. Holidays or not I want to know

    46. I'm praying they'll answer our questions, eventually. This doll is beautiful and I adore that they combined the classic CP aesthetics with the awesome joint system of the newer lines! The head is also super sweet. *waaants*

    47. I thought that as well when I first saw her, which made me think she was a MNF at first. I feel like the head would be better suited for the F65 or F70 instead of the body she's on. But she's still very pretty, even with a bobblehead. XD

    48. bobblehead or not...I WANT HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    49. I definitely think they just have the wig on just a LITTLE too far back on her forehead, I don't think her head looks bobbly at all. I definitely think it's the wig.

sd sized minifee! poseability! nice joints! OH JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fairyland DOES read DOA, I do believe. Fairylannnnddd!! hello!!! Please release this girl in basic for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sings* :abambi::eusa_pray:abow::abambi::eusa_pray:abow::abambi::eusa_pray:abow:

    50. but don't they always release their dolls in basic? feeple65, MNF, chicline, etc. I think the only ones who were really limited were feeple70 and that was a long time ago. now they seem to always offer their dolls in basic

    51. Yeah but then again, we do have the resent release of the Black Butler doll... But that one wasn't published much anywhere... Like this one is... Argh it's all so confusing!

    52. aah true that. I forgot about him. now I'm starting to stress about her release xD; I really want her bodyy D= probably her head too but not on this body because I think she looks bubbleheaded on it :sweat

    53. "All the concept dolls"??? Oh I greatly look forward to you posting the rest of your pictures!!!

    54. I don't think I've ever been as excited for a doll release as I am for this one...not even the dolls I own already. I really want this one. I can't wait until all her info is out. I have questions Fairyland!!!

MizuKi7: I would assume that, since this girl seems to be a new line of Feeple, that they will eventually do a boy body...but it's difficult to say since she's based after someone else's work. All the other dolls (the recent ones anyways) have been released in sets (one boy, one girl). I still think they will do it eventually though. I know a lot of companies tend to release just a girl version of something first, since girls tend to sell more, and then release a boy. We'll have to wait and see.

    55. And here I thought I had all the fairyland dolls I wanted... :)

    56. Feeple = me confused.

So -- fairyland doesn't have CP Luts dolls, those are still available at luts.com (like Lishe, El, etc) -- the DELFS. Is Feeple Fairyland's answer to 60cm "standard" SD size, then?

    57. I don't really think it matters what they call it at this point. After all, luts uses the DELF tag for all their sizes. Senior Delf, Junior Delf, Honey Delf, Kid Delf, etc. Even though none of those lines are sculpted by the same as the original Delf line. And if you think about it... Feeple is the line that Fairyland uses. With the exception of Pukipuki, all of their lines are either Feeple, or "Fee", which is an abbreviation of "Feeple". MiniFee(ple), LittleFee(ple), PukiFee(ple), etc.

    58. I don't think feeple is their Line. I think Fée is. since it's fairyland, normal their dolls are called fairies ;)

    59. Hopefully Fairyland will answer the emails kindly and with the info we want ^__^

(Somehow I fear that they will answer with a "We told you not to ask! geez! D: " like comment x'D
