@Lei Xing awe I'm so glad you appreciate him ! I wish more people were able to see how beautiful Yder is ㅠㅡㅠ it's the only mold I've ever wanted multiples of!

I've been a bit out of the hobby in recent years, but I'm really happy to see that DELFs are still popular.

 

I can relate. I've stayed in the hobby but not so much the community aspect. I remember "back in my day" delfs were everywhere. Everyone I knew had at least one, but obviously thats not the case now. Really a shame because they were beauties!

 

But it's heartening that there are still true connoisseurs of this line.

 

Just wanted to share my (new to me) Soony!

 

Oh noo!! We moved off the first page! I got 2 massive doll cabinets so here's my doll tax I've got Soony, El x3, and type 2 Lishe they're my babies and I love them so so much ;w;

 

I absolutely adore her wig! It's so cute!

 

So. Much. Soony envy! @misskirara and @juumou

 

I'm almost scared to jinx it but... after many years of searching (which is a shock to me, honestly, that it's taken so long) I may finally have found my Type 1 El. It isn't confirmed yet and he'll be coming to me from China, but fingers crossed!

Based on the photo, he may be quite banana yellow so I'll see how much pan pastel magic I need to work to reverse it as I plan to hybrid him onto a different body and want him to be NS, but still! Finally! And I guess the Delf body may become a spare for my Breakaway because I feel guilt about the thoughts of splitting a Type 1 Delf

 

I hope that your Type 1 El has arrived, safe and sound! What a nice holiday present to give to yourself.

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13, here is a tutorial about how to post to DoA from Flickr. On mobile, you have to request the desktop site of Flickr, instead of using the app, but otherwise the steps are the same.

Love to see more Els and Delfs! XD so nostalgic!

 

I'll be hosting a local meetup for Valentine's day, and I'm debating on taking one of my Delf with me.

Its kind of a tossup between Tielo:

Hopefully these pics show up. I'm still figuring out how to post when I'm on my phone. Also, rn Shuichi fits the Valentine theme better. Come to think of it, I don't think poor Shuichi has been out ever since he got his faceup a while back.

Thank you for the tutorial, I'm going to try it out on a pic to see if I can do it properly. Honestly I prefer using the BBCode to post. Plus it gives me an excuse to post another Delf pic.

I'm also going to change his outfit to fit the Valentine's Day theme, but to what, I'm not exactly sure yet.

Oh, Shuichi is actually an Elf Chiwoo, and he came with archer hands as well as regular Chiwoo hands. Now If only I could find the archer set....

I realized recently how long it had been since I posted proper photos of my Shiwoo Vamp, so I took some new photos of him this past weekend and posted to my insta. I really love this little guy and am so glad he’s been with me these past 17 years! He’s sooo darling in person, I wish people could meet him

I've only had Tielo for a little over ten years, but I love him to pieces. He's way overdue for a photoshoot, so I owe him one. I wish that your guy and Tielo could meet in person. @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 thanks for sharing your Tielo! It often feels impossible to maintain the old BW CP’s, but they’re so so gorgeous. Aww, unfortunately I’m on the complete opposite coast in California :<

Welp, it has taken me a very long time to figure out how I wanted to do Sternauge's final merman tail, and its not quite the way I imagined it, but I'm still very pleased with how it turned out. It was my first time working with organza, and I had to layer it up in order for it to be thick enough to look like proper flukes.

Now he really looks like how he should!

Completely forgot about delfuary, but happy lunar new year!

 

My El arrived!!! He is definitely a very yellow boy which makes sense for his age (like an '05 or so Type 1 El) and has a gorgeous faceup. I did also get another body to hybrid him onto and was planning to blush him to match, but his faceup is so pretty that I'll need to think hard about this plan.

Here he is with Elias, his brother. I still need to get him a wig and change his eyes (if only my weak fingers could pry open his headcap, which is hooked onto the elastic as per the Type 1 delf mechanism DX)
