20–39cm Dolls Coral Reef Doll - Red Rabbit Unboxing and Review

Right from the start the packaging is lovely. The box is really sturdy and has a beautiful pearlescent shine on it.



Here's all the things she came with and how it all breaks apart! I ordered the clear skull as an add on and she's the old blue resin tone. It's hard to photograph but she's a beautiful slightly teal pastel blue in person.



I was really surprised that she can stand! I wont leave her standing but she can balance on those tiny feet.


Her elbow peanuts and general tension are good. She'll hold in between arm poses well and can just stay that way without snapping to a solid position or wiggling.



Lastly, I think her lower legs are completely solid and her thighs seem to be solid except for a small channel for her elastic. I'm not going to be doing mods on her that will require carving but I think this is a perfect body for if you wanted to do carving mods since the legs have so much resin to carve into without risk of breaking through to the elastic channels.

It feels nice! It's pretty smooth but has just enough tooth to feel velvety, the color is even as well. She's pretty hefty weight wise for her size but even the thinner pieces like the skull masks feel nice and sturdy. Comparing it to some of my other dolls she definitely feels like she'll be a good carrying around without having to worry doll. Also since her hands are a little chunky the separated fingers don't feel brittle or like a weak point either.

 

There are two versions of the doll. Red and White. This is the Red version who comes with the rose tail, sleeping faceplate, and skull under face. The White one comes with the biting tail, open eyed faceplate, and tooth under face.

Yup! You can see in some of the sales photos. I put just a tiny bit of putty on either side of the plate near the bottom where it's slightly thicker. I'll probably put a tiny bit at the center top as well later so it's like a triangle of support.
