Coral Reef Doll Mie Mie

In December I asked legenddoll if they could proxy for me for the Dolk x Coral Reef collab Mie Mie. They told me it wasn’t possible, however they reached out to Coral Reef on my behalf and found out there was one of the Mie Mie models I wanted left in stock (open eye with sculpted lashes). It felt serendipitous since I’ve been eyeing Mie Mie ever since she first released but since I was saving for a trip I couldn’t preorder her. I went ahead with the purchase and here we are.


Legenddoll did not send me a shipping notice so she actually came the day I was going to poke Erica about it. She came super fast,I ordered her on the 12th of December 2024 and she got in on the 6th of January 2025. Box was in great condition and packed in a bag that actually had stiff corner inserts to keep them from denting.

The doll box is lovely and has a magnetic latch.

Along with her COA she came with some post cards! Very cute (also legend doll added some promotional material not shown here)! There was also eye putty as well as a melamine sponge.

She and her tail and ears were carefully mummified and the box has an additional two layers of foam that go over top so she’s extra cozy in there!

Here she is! They sent her wearing little panties. Her head cap snaps into place perfectly and the magnets for her ears are embedded into her head. I’m disappointed that her tail magnet is not the same. They send you a magnet (pictured sandwiched between the two tokens on the bottom left) so I suppose you can decide where to insert it in her body yourself but I would have preferred it to already have a magnet embedded.
Her resin is lovely smooth and the sculpting details on her hands,hooves and eyelashes is just precious.
Her posing isn’t super great, but to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be. I got her for her sweet face and adorable body and she doesn’t disappoint in that realm!
(She’s wearing Oscar doll eyes in the last pic. I’ve had them floating for a long time and hoped they’d finally found their dollie but alas I don’t really think they work for her. Still she’ll keep them until her new pair comes in.)

Thank you! Me too, she was actually the first doll I saw that had them when I came back into the hobby recently. They really pushed her from a sculpt I thought was cute into a sculpt I had to have.

I’m not exactly sure how I want to get her painted but I think once I get her eyes and wig in I’ll have a better idea! (Her wig and eyes were easy picks for me so I have a feeling she’ll come together wonderfully~)
