Cooper's never been big on Christmas (or any holiday, really) but Bren goes over the top for Christmas! And might even still believe in Santa despite being 23....Anyway, they've been taking holiday photos recently! First snow of the year! Time to go old-fashioned Caroling! (Those songs Bren's picking are neither old fashioned nor appropriate, btw...) Cozy holiday spirit, under the tree and waiting on Santa Christmas morning, snuggles in bed Cooper is a very heavily modded Migidoll Cynical Yujin on modded Luts Muse body. Bren is a slightly modded Migidoll Siho on Luts Senior Delf body. Faceups, mods, wig styling and most clothing by me. Cooper's black pants are Tree Design, Bren's pj top is Nine9Style, Bren's jeans are Volks, and Cooper's coat, Bren's gloves, both hats and Bren's scarf from the snow shoot are from various dealers (Alice, Ali Express, eBay). Cooper's gloves were from Etsy years ago.
I was thrilled with the cutie PJs, too! Love those green eyes! They have so many rings! I am curious how you do that... Looks as though they have had a most delightful Christmas!
Thank you! Those pjs' fabric was very personally picked--Cooper got Jelly of the Month because he's a man who enjoys his vegan organic jams and jellies on fresh toast for breakfast, and Bren got Triple Dog Dare because he's a prankster and stuntman and always either taking dares, or daring his friends to do stupid stuff. Oh yeah, these two, along with Lumi, are my ring hoarders! The rings come from various places and methods. A few, I bought off etsy from a Russian artist who has since closed shop (unless they've reopened elsewhere and I'm not aware). But many, I made myself. I'm still experimenting with them to find the best method, the bands being the biggest challenge. Some bands are from jewelry making findings I found years ago that worked and I haven't been able to get since, and some are ear cuffs cut down to size and bent to fit. The sets/jewels are nail art charms! Just glued on with E6000 jewelry glue. Check measurements or pics when buying nail art, some charms are too big to look right on a doll unless you want them to have oversized gaudy rings. I usually go for 8mm at the max, 4-6mm is better. You can also buy tiny stud earrings, snip the post off and sand it flat. (This is for SD and up, I haven't made any for smaller dolls.) After you glue them, let them set up for a few days or they may pop off when you put them on the doll. Though sometimes, I put the band on the doll first, then glue the charm, but you need to be very very careful doing that so it doesn't get on the resin! Sorry for the wall of text, but wanted to give as much info as I could!
