A very nice DoA member kindly informed me that this part of the board would be a better place to discuss pattern-related things, so i copied my original post: So this is just my third posting here, I really hope Im doing it right :-) A few months ago i came up with a pattern for a small crocheted doll and a lot of different clothing patterns for it. I designed this for the daughter of a friend. The little girl loves this doll to pieces, and being the crochet geek I am I tried hard to put a lot of detail in the patterns and how i made up the doll and the clothes. And last night it just hit me - these items were made for a doll of about 14cm height and a rather big waist. Maybe, with a little tweaking and fumbling around they would fit a BJD too? I guess this is going to be a fun project so Im looking for... - people that actually own one of the smaller sized BJDs (because I dont have a doll yet -.-) willing to take measurements for me. - any opinion considering the actual "style" of the clothes. I noticed that there are a lot of highly fashionable and "grown up" outfits out there which are very different from my colourful and childlike approach. Is this of any interest for you? I understand im not allowed to post any non-BJD-doll pics, but if youd like to see some of the clothes and accessories Ive created so far posting some pictures of them for comparison and discussion would be ok, is this correct?
I'd love to see some of the clothes you've made. Although you can't post non-BJD pics, you can post a link to them if you have them stored on a site like Flickr or Photobucket.
I am uploading some of the pics, bit by bit. There are a LOT of them on my mobile, so please excuse the mediocre quality. :-) Basilio81's Library You might want to have a look at "mobile uploads". I added descriptions to my pics, questions are always welcome.
