Aesthetics Completing all 20 of my Characters!

My goal for my dolls has always been to have a doll for each character in a private story I've been writing! I've been working on these characters for nearly a decade, and have decided I really need a progress tracker to help finish off some of their doll counter-parts.

I intend to slowly chug away at this list, working my way through until all my dolls fit their characters!

I intend to post photo updates once I have completed part of a doll!

Time for my first update! Apologies in advance for the photo quality, as my poor phone is broken!

First, I'd like to quickly show off Iva. As of starting this project, Iva was the only "completed" doll in my collection, mostly thanks to her being a full set. Iva's outfit, wig, and shoes are all from Gem of Doll, though her eyes are Rifirifi eyes from Withdoll.

Moving on to my updates!

I'll start with Helia, who as one of my very first dolls, hasn't had enough special treatment! She started her time with me as Emilia, her older sister, until it clicked one day that this pouty girl was in fact Helia! Helia's wig and eyes came from her former owner, and her outfit was far too big for her. Helia now has a lovely pair of brown Mako eyes, a wig that matches my other dolls in style, and a red dress. I am very happy with how she has turned out! She has shoes and undergarments, so I am happy to call her complete!

I also recieved another second-hand doll, who I've been buying things for over the past couple of years. This is Bianka, a Soom Shale/Adamelli head on a Doll Family A body. Her outfit is the fullset counterpart of Iva (Gem of Doll Adelise), and her eyes are Sadol eyes I fell in love with! Bianka is currently missing shoes, so she is still in-progress!


Marie also now has a wig, a vast improvement from being bald! I'm undecided on what type of shoes Marie needs as well, so she is still in-progress.


I also have completed a body swap! Meet Lestan, who has taken over poor Yami's body. Yami needs a 70cm body to match the height of my other boys, whereas Lestan is the perfect height as a teenager. I wasn't sure if the neck would be too big for the DIM Marcellina head, but it seems to fit pretty well! I'm planning a dark red wig for Lest, and potentially a matching suit! For now, Yami is demoted to the head box.

I also have obtained a body for Fey, but I'm holding off on the head for the mean time.

Little update to my dolls!

Winona's body has arrived and I'm so happy with it! It's a Yemaozi/Chat a Feuilles Moon body I ordered from Lula Doll. I was expecting the neck to be too big and need sanding, based on the measurements of the head, but it fits like a dream! I am very happy with the similarity of the resin colours too. Winona is mostly dressed (though is missing undergarments) and will be bald for the time being until I bite the bullet and order her wig from Korea (such expensive shipping).


I also now have a wig cap for Helia, so her wig stays on much better now. I'm very happy with how she is looking.


I also might have a couple dolls on the way who aren't part of my story directly... But I'll keep that as a surprise until they arrive!

 

This is the third time I've changed Kurona's eyes, because I can't seem to settle!

Initially, Kurona had these little black eyes with red pentagrams (from Withdoll), which were gorgeous but didn't take in enough light so her eyes looked like black holes. Most recently, I changed her to some beautiful planet eyes from Sadol (the same eyes Bianka and Winona have, but shades of purple), which I absolutely loved, but the iris was still a bit big for her!

Today I went through my collection of eyes and I think I've settled on these old gold eyes, that used to belong to Helia. I think these match her make-up so well, and they are a much better size on her. I still am unhappy with her wig though! I think the quality of the Leekeworld wig isn't what I had hoped, and it seems too big for her head. Her character is supposed to have black twintails, so I might try order one more wig like that before I change colours and styles.
