      Decided to start up this thread & get organized as my doll is only a few hours away from my city~Hoping he will arrive by Friday :XD:

      I plan on turning a Fairyland Realpuki Pupu into a bunny boy that appeared in my dream from way back when (along with a black cat, but I'll get to creating that character in the future).

      Here are some sketches of Yon, and what my doll will hopefully end up looking like this:

    9. StrangeShank I'm using some basic supplies that can be bought at a local crafts store~ Actually not many materials if you look at my list! Give it a try, and DoA members are very helpful when you get stumped! :)

      Here are the ears all sanded! It's lighter than the rest of the resin but that's alright since it'll be covered up by the wig :)

      Now I need to make the tail & figure out how to bake the wig without squishing it~ I'm out of foil in the house so maybe a cardstock stand?? Hopefully the wig will harden up a bit by the time I bake!

    13. About the baking: make a ball of playdouh and then cover it in saran wrap. Because the playdouh won't harden when baked you can just pull it out when it's finished baking.

      The wig & tail were burnt a bit, but I plan on painting & blushing over it anyways so no biggy. During the time before I baked it, it seems a lot of people touched the wig while I was out today :| Lots of fingernail marks.... Will have to fill them in.

      I've been so busy lately (still am) but I found some time to start filling in all those finger marks in the wig with some gesso.

      Here are two photos after the first two coats of gesso. It's a nice white now. I can't wait to add some blushing :)

    39. I totally agree with everyone, your little guy is so cute and adorable and so far, I am hooked with your progress too! I love his wig and can't wait to see what you do with the colouring.

      His face up is super cute as well, he looks super cheeky and the white in the eyebrows and on his cheeks add great contrast to that adorable face.
