Comic-Con International:San Diego 2016 BJD Panel and Meetup...Sunday, July 24

Hello All!

*EDIT: The panel will take place on Sunday, July 24 at noon-2pm in 32AB. 32AB is on the harbor side of the Center, just down from Ballroom 20.

Here is the first announcement for this year's panel/meetup at Comic-Con International in San Diego!

Comic-Con runs July 21-24 (Preview Night on the 20th), and the meetup is scheduled for Sunday, July 24. I do not have a confirmed time or room yet, but I do know that it will be in the Convention Center rather than offsite. It should be sometime around noon.

Joining us this year once again will be speakers Bo Bergemann of Bergemann Dolls, Hideyoshi Shigeta of Volks USA, and Pam Ford of PamSDMiniCostuming. Additional panelists will be added as confirmed.

You must have a membership to the convention to attend, as the panel/meetup is in the convention center. The meetup will begin with a short intro/discussion/Q&A, then the remaining time will be spent as meetup and photo time. We generally have a large variety of BJDs displayed, so feel free to join in!

Please keep in mind that there are no sales allowed in any of the program spaces.

If the doll is a smaller one, I've found wrapping them in some fabric and putting them in a tote bag works. Hope to see you there

If you go out the back of the center and down the stairs, there's Embarcadero Park. Most of the lines should be gone by then. There's also Seaport Village. I, alas, will not be able to join you, as Con Talkback begins at 3:30.
