Comibaby Doll Cutie Series

I'm waiting for a cutie Dudu that I pre-ordered through their site in September! I've also heard good things about their bodies, so I am really looking forward to comparing her to my other dolls.

Peridot is a really cute sculpt as well, I love her smile.

 

I love how gentle Dudu looks, she just looks very sweet and thoughtful to me.

I also think Hani is cute, Yori looks like she is smiling for a school photograph, which is also very cute in its own way, but I prefer a more neutral look to my dolls, I find it is easier to photograph them, and they seem more restful to me.

I totally get why other people love the more expressive sculpts, though, they do have a lot of character!

 

These little ones are seriously cute! I haven't heard of them before but now I want to see more!

Hani is my favorite but Dudu has the cutest "neutral" expression. I love the outfit designs too. I always want more pin tucks, gathers, and bloomers in my life

@perfectionismxx Yori really captures the somewhat dorky look of a child posing for a photo! It's adorable but I agree with not needing her in my own collection. She kind of reminds me of Boo from Monsters Inc, but now that I'm comparing side by side, her eyes are so much less intense!

 

I absolutely have LOVED the comi baby dolls I've gotten! They are certainly great posers, and so cute!

I put in (kind of an impulse) order for "P"! Shes so cute and a good price for a fullset doll ^_^ I have Peridot in the bigger size as well.

Would love to see photos of these babies if anyone has them

 

She is gorgeous! She does not look like a Peridot to me, though, her mouth looks like a different shape to Peridot's, but it could be something about the faceup if you are sure of her sculpt ^^

Either way, she is a stunning doll

 

It must just be the way she is painted then, I am sure the certificate knows better than I do!

I am getting more and more impatient for my Dudu to arrive, even though I know waiting for dolls is something we all have to deal with in this hobby xD

 

She is so cute! I love her! But as cute as she is, I also don't agree she's a peridot. Maybe the seller mixed her dolls up? Her lips are much more compact than peridot in the stock photos. You might want to double check with the seller one more time.

 

That is so strange @SaltedPretzel! I don't think this is any reason to doubt her authenticity or anything like that, but I think someone messed up somewhere. I personally would guess she's a Dudu from her mouth and nose shape but Lulu is also a contender. Maybe emailing ComiBaby Doll would help solve the mystery! They should easily be able to recognize their own sculpts and maybe even confirm any dolls they sent to Resin Rose. It's a convention after all so they may keep track of that.

 

I would send a message to Comi Baby and ask which sculpt she is. She looks like Misa

 

I got my Comibaby Doll x Dollsky collaboration doll - Paradise fullset (who also seems to be called 'P' now?) a while back. Got her because she looks just like the child version of character I RP! I ordered her through Clover Singing back on 1 Sept and she shipped about a month later on 7 Oct!

She's super cute~!

@SaltedPretzel Is your girl "cutie" or "baby" sized? I'm wondering if that's what is confusing people. The one-size bigger "babies" of the same sculpts tend to look pretty different than their name counterparts in cutie size.

 

Huh! Mystery. I have a cutie peridot as well and I can confirm she does look different. I'm interested to hear what you find out!

My Paradise arrived already She must have been in stock, it was only a ten day wait lol.

Im a kind of disappointed because I assumed the fullset included a faceup??
But apparently not...now she will have to wait a while to be completed.

She is~! That's so strange though that your fullset didn't come with a faceup... Mine is a fullset as well. You should probably ask about that?

 

On their store "Full Set" and "Make Up" are seperate dropdown boxes, I think the Full Set only means the clothes, so if you want yhe makeup as well you have to pick both. If you did do that then it's probably a mixup on their part.

 

Yeah, I figured that out after the fact lol. Usually faceup is part of the fullset so I misunderstood.

 

@Cydril I wonder if they may be able to help you out if you wanted that specific face up though!
The Comi Baby team's customer service is really top notch, so I would think that if it's something you'd like, it might be worth reaching out

 

I have a Peridot on the way and this thread is making me so excited for her! I think I might need a Pudding as well, she has such a cute face.

 

Playing around the Paradise and I decided to put her on a dollzone body instead. The resin match to DZ peach is pretty decent!

My Dudu arrived! She had quite a trip, she was in transit for 60 days, and when she got here her box was somewhat mashed, but inside she was fine thank goodness!

 

Our girls were in the same shipment because this one also arrived...



This is Robin, my Peridot! She also had a mashed box, it even had a tear in the lid. I am so relieved she was well secured inside!

 

@namika and @Cydril how do you like the posing on Paradise? I just discovered her a couple of days ago and she's so adorable, but there's NOTHING out there about her.

 

The posing? Well, she can stand quite solidly and can sit up on her own. I personally don't really do anything other than simple poses with my dolls, so she's good enough for me.

I see Cutie Peridot is back in stock. I can't find any info on shoe size or foot measurement. What size foot does a Cutie girl have?

 

My Comi Cutie shares shoes with my Littlefee and other YoSD sized dolls, I think her feet are pretty standard.
