Colorado Anime Fest BJD Panel (March 2017)

    1. Hi all!
      I just got confirmation from programming at CO Anime Fest in Denver that I will be hosting a BJD meetup/panel (probably mostly meetup)!
      If all goes well this will be sometime on the weekend of March 24th.
      I'll be getting emails from them in terms of scheduling so I'll keep this thread updated.
      Would love to see some of you there. :)

      My bjd Instagram is @mishkavon so feel free to follow me there for updates & such. (It's a private account but feel free to send a request!)

    2. Thank you so much for posting this! I've been kind of waiting for an opportunity like this to arrive in Colorado to potentially meet new people and those in the BJD community.

    4. So I've been mulling this idea over in my head; I think I may bring some dolly clothes and extras to sell, as well as some full dolls and heads. My only concern is the possibility of theft. It could be fun to have a little bjd market as well though.

    5. That would be awesome if it worked out! I understand the whole theft idea though...
      In the end, just having this opportunity is going to be amazing; anything extra that comes is just a bonus in my opinion.
      I wish more CO BJD owners knew and would respond to get more thoughts on your idea..
      Maybe Instagram would have more opinions...?

    6. Yeah I do too! If you know any other owners here please spread the word!
      I posted on IG but I think I know maybe one other CO owner who I don't actually personally know but I just happened to follow her and she was also from here haha. I may also email the con organizers and see what they think. :)

      Speaking of, I emailed the panel coordinator about being able to sell things and he said that we can't do it because it would be unfair to the people who pay for a booth at the artists alley etc.
      Perhaps we can arrange a BJD market meetup, per se in the future. :)

    14. Yay I will so try to be there I never get to go to any COBJD meetups! Although my dolls aren't complete yet (missing faceup, clothes, etc) except for one. Perhaps I'll just try to bring him lol but I feel so bad he's the one that always gets to go. He is my favorite though ^_~

    15. Hi everyone,
      So the panel will be this weekend (Saturday from 7pm to 8pm) I was wondering how many of you are definitely coming to the meet up?
      To be entirely honest if no one shows up I would almost rather just cancel and then hopefully we can plan something another time.

    16. Hey all so unfortunately I have had to cancel my panel at this con. I've been so swamped with work and school I don't have much free time. But check out my Denver Co thread I think some people wanted to plan a meetup outside of the con anyways.
