[/IMG] I edit using Clip Studio Paint because it has some color correction capabilities but even after editing this, it looks super blue to me. What color should I add on to balance out the blue-ish white? By the way, my wall is supposed to be a cream color.
Can you adjust the temperature? If so, try making it warmer. Unfortunately I'm unfamiliar with Clip Paint Studio (I use Adobe Lightroom), so I have no alternative solutions if you are unable to do that.
I've been looking through my camera settings and I think it was my white balance being off. Now it's set to incandescent lighting. Thanks!
If your camera supports RAW image capture then setting proper color balance after the fact is not a problem. If your camera does not support RAW image capture then you need to set your camera to approximate the color of the primary illumination source. Look around, is most of the light coming from a window, incandescent light, fluorescent light including CFLs. Set your camera explicitly to the prevailing light; do not rely on auto WB to get it right. I don't know clip art studio but most competent image editors include a neutral tone setting tool.
I grabbed a copy of your image and gave it a quick color correction in Photoshop. It probably isn't perfect as your cream wall isn't truly cream but your girl's blouse is now white. Tmp by Tom Beach, on Flickr
Oh that looks so much better. I'll have to fiddle and get to know my camera . I was a photographer for three years but downgrading from a D700 with 20 lens to choose from is interesting lol
