Colette, the Astronaut Girl♥

I Had this Doll as a young boy back in the mid/late-80's~very-early-90's or so.

Recently, i've wanted to get her back... but not as a Cabbage Patch Kid.
i found one for cheap enough... planning to fit the Suit to my 1/4 IMOMODOLL Yuna,
and that would've looked just Adorable♥

Unfortunately; there was NO WAY the Spacesuit was about to fit poor Yuna.

disappointed, but not Defeated... i made lemonade from lemons;
I tracked down a lovely-faced, Porcelain Bisque-headed Precious Moments doll, that, while having a body MUCH too small,
her head did end up convincingly fit over onto another soft doll body that i found...
one that the Spacesuit fits quite well on, lightly-modified;

 

Found a Body that Works Out for her... care of this Holiday PM Girl~

Successfully Grafted the previous PM doll's (Colette) Porcelain Bisque head
onto the body of the Vinyl-headed X-Mas-themed Girl;

 

Gee Wiz; She is Just Too Adorable♥

 

I Irreversibly shifted Colette's head over onto an "American Girl" Knock-Off "My Life As" 18in. Doll Body... And she Did NOT turn out to my Satisfaction.

So, Lesson Learned; DON'T Mess with Perfection. i Located Another ASHTON-DRAKE PM "You Can Always Spot A True Friend" Doll...
- this one New in Box even - and Restored Her back to all of her Adorable ♥Little-Miss-Astronaut♥ Glory for Keeps this time~
