Cocoriang: Off-Topic Dolls

Couldn’t resist and got the new Da-rae head with rabbit ears. I also got one Chuchu. Da-rae is so adorable and I have quite a few dolls in the same size range. Still waiting for Groomy.

 

Just ordered Phoja, the mushroom doll.
If you haven't seen him yet you should check him out. So imaginative! I think he and Kurt, my Humpty-Dumpty egg, will have great fun together.

 

I tried to order a Tobi from this maker years ago and the delivery company was never able to get it to me. I just bought a doll so I am not about to buy another one immediately, but I love Cocoriang's dolls, so I will probably try again at some point. I am such a sucker for cute bunnies.

 

@phanuel when I first saw Phoja, you immediately came to mind as he is a perfect addition to your collection. I’ll be looking forward to seeing the wonderful pictures you come up with!

 

@kurogane , yes, the mushroom appears to be very photogenic, and I won't have to worry about finding clothes for him!

 

And ordered an open-eyed Shifty with eyes and makeup yesterday (7 July)! He's just too cute and his slightly crossed blue eyes and gingery blushing just reminds me so much of my flame point Siamese kitten, Whitney!

 

The nude Groomy will be send next week. I can't wait.

 

Yay! I’m looking forward to getting my Groomy! Seems like forever since I ordered, but it really hasn’t, lol.

 

I got a shipping notification for Groomy! I’m looking forward to seeing the resin color in person. It’s such a pretty color in the promotional pictures.

I regretted missing Groomy. She's on the wishlist for later. It's possibly turned out for the best though, because I could jump on the limited blue Cheeriya! ^o^ I wanted one with the same/similar body type as my Arno and Indy, and after pricing up a Moco body + Cheeriya head and tail, it was cheaper to get the event doll. It's sooner than I planned (would have bought Moco and Niya first otherwise) but that's okay. :3

I adore Cocoriang. Basically that's my life goals now haha. XD Spend life making cute things! Is that too sentimental?

 

Admirable goal @bentosmile! I agree, Collecting Cocoraing is top on my doll wishlist.

I’m not in a position to get Cherriya at this time, but maybe later. Cocoraing is coming out with new releases every couple months, it’s hard to keep up! I’m anxiously waiting for my Da -Rae head and little bird to be finished.

I wish I had taken a closer look at Cocoriang sooner. I thought I knew most of their dolls and although adorable they were not must-haves for me, but today I learned of the existence of Cocoriang Karr, who is of course sold out and the one that just popped up on Y!J I can't get because the seller doesn't deal with proxy agents, so I guess that's another one for the grail list=_=. Also I just realized I want a Phoja too, badly. What other amazing cuties has Cocoriang made that aren't listed on their site anymore? I only see the basic kids and pets anymore.

^o^ I snagged a Chuchu while making my final Cheeriya payment! Woo! I'm so happy, I can't wait :3

(I wish my dolls were out for photos and faceups and making clothing instead of being in boxes...)

Edit: I also noticed their limited section disappeared... but it's back now (or last time I checked). Although I don't think it has all their previous limiteds/dolls listed. I've missed so much...

 

The Shifty I order in July has shipped! And I didn't get an email from Cocoriang about it....! Only found out because the HK Post now sends SMS notifications when an EMS package is about to leave its country of origin and when it reaches HK.

Just got a message that a package from Korea is on its way to me! Logged into Cocoriang and my Shifty still says 'awating shipment' but there's an EMS number attached and it's the same number! According to the EMS site, it's actually already arrived in HK!

 

Ooh congrats! Shifty is so cute :3 (but then all their dolls are enchanting!) Hope your sweet little deer arrives home soon

hi! didn’t know there was a thread for cocoriangs here since they are off topic! glad to see there is i have poi(walnut),cheeriya(acorn) and tobi(pinecone) and then a moco who will not arrive for a little while.

 

Shifty is here~! There was a typhoon, so his delivery was a little delayed.

Cocoriang seems to have changed their doll boxes. I have a Crail and he came in a narrow cylindrical tube type box, while Shifty came in this adorable flat round box that looks like it's for fancy candies or cookies~! So cute!

I ordered him with the eyes from the promotional pics which I had to put in myself. And I was surprised to find that his anthers aren't detachable! I thought that they would be since Crail's horn is.

 

hes soooo cute!!! they use those boxes for the four legged ones, but the fairy body ones get the tea canister!

 

I see! The Crail I got earlier is four legged though and he came in a tea canister... Maybe they ran out of boxes that time?

 

@namika so adorable! Shifty is on my wishlist. I also got a Crail and she was shipped in the tea canister. I’m liking the new box your Shifty came in.

 

I’m hoping that they release the mushroom man again I missed getting him he is too cute not to get!

Such a little cutie! Yeah, my Shifty came in a box like that too. I got Indy at the same time and he was in the taller tea canister-like one. I dunno if the flatter boxes are newer than your Crail (my dolls arrived last December if that helps).

Anyway XD he's so cute, give him a headpat (if wanted) from me haha

 

(And there's currently another typhoon... Right on the tail of the last one...)

My Crail arrived in Sept last year, so I guess it's possible that the flatter boxes are newer.

And Shifty says thanks for the headpat!

@Masteryoda , yes, I do have fun with them. It seems as if everyone is coming out with mushroom dolls now! I couldn't resist a micro one from Dreamhigh Studio, but I'm passing on the other ones for now.

 

Oh please show off your mush when they get to you. I really wanted one but couldn't work it into the budget.

super excited that I finally was able to place my first order with cocoriang! I ordered a groomy with open and closed face plates, and no makeup. Ive been sketching out some designs for her and can't wait for her to arrive! ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾

Phoja mushroom is back this month and he now has 3 little toadstool friends! Did anyone get any of these guys yet?!

 

I saw the announcement, but will have to pass as another company event is this month and I can only do one. The mushrooms are just so cute though! The little boots give them so much character. A little forest diorama with all of the mushrooms would be amazing.

 

That’s the thing about the holidays...companies all seem to be doing releases or people are putting out a bunch of stuff for sale and the pocketbook can only cough up so much!

Phanuel is actually the one who started me on these with her adorable pics of Phoja and Soom Humpty Dumpty eggs! Her setups are adorable! They make me feel happy for some reason...they just so cute. Although I don’t think I can recreate her adorable pics...I plan to take some outdoor shots of the mushrooms sometime in the spring when they arrive. I did not get Moo just Oom and Shoo and of course Phoja. Will I regret not getting Moo? That’s what I’m wondering...lol.

 

I, too, ordered Phoja. I really liked him the last time he was available but couldn't afford him. Even now, I've opted for layaway, because of all the other events going on. December is a terrible month for the wallet.
Anyhow, since the stated time for shipping orders is February at the earliest, so this is fine.
I think Phoja will look really cute with all the fairies I have somehow aquired...I did not set out to assemble a whole magical forest, yet that seems to be what I did.

 

I've just bought an Arno at the Doll Rendez-vous earlier this month, and it is the cutest little dool ever, now I want to get little friends for it even though I was very indifferent to anthros/animal dolls before

I also would like to make/buy clothes for it, but I'm not sure what fits those dolls?

I couldn't help myself and had to order a Moo! ^^; As much as I like their mushroom dolls, I could never justify getting a Phoja for myself, but Moo is perfect. I did order him without makeup so I'm gonna have to blush his little butt myself lol XD and he has such a silly happy face... love it so much!

 

Yoo, my Phoja has shipped! And has just arrived in my country even. Bonus funny: somehow got into the same plane as my Luts order, according to the flight info. What are the odds?
I somehow escaped custom fees with my last two packages from South Korea...I hope my luck holds (or at least that they put a fake value on the packge...)

 

@EagleVision1999 , it always seems that when I have several dolls and doll-related items pre-ordered from different companies, they arrive on the same day!

Who, for some reson, came with light blue beads for eyes. I totally expected black ones. The light blue is growing on me though.
