Well, I finally ordered my Tobi! I got the basic with no face up, but did order the blue eyes with stars. He’s just so cute I couldn’t resist anymore.

 

Congratulations! I have one with closed eyes. They're prescious!

 

Judging from Instagram and their site, looks like the Coco's Child line is expanding to include YoSD scale dolls in a new line call Coyo. The current 19cm dolls are going to be Copo. This will be exciting to see. Hopefully with the children being in a more familiar scale, we'll start seeing more of them.

The animal doll categories were also renamed. Peppi and Ruppe are Classic dolls and the teeny tinies like Tobi are Fairy dolls.

Well, my little bunny arrived today! I wasn’t expecting him so fast. He is just so cute! Now I’m going to sew him a little coat.

 

Glad I found this thread! I ordered a little closed eye ManekiNeko and then a pink Tobi. Been wondering how long the average wait time is.

@aernath my wait was 2.5 months for a blank Tobi. And, yes, I will take pictures! He is still blank, but he does have eyes and I made him a blue jacket like Peter Rabbit.

Quick question, do the dolls like Rehreh have faceplates, or head caps?

 

They have head caps, from what I've seen. There's a box opening on YouTube of a Rehreh that shows what it looks like:

Hi everyone c: I recently got a Reh-reh. I was wondering, are cocoriang's human dolls off topic or something? I didn't find a discussion thread for them on the tiny forum, so I wasn't sure if someone just hasn't gotten around to it, or if they might be off topic for some reason? They have the same features as my on-topic msd dolls so I wasn't sure.

At least for Reh-reh, she has a head cap.

 

@Epona, Yes, Reh-reh and Sumi are off-topic. But you can post pictures of them with on-topic dolls. And you can post pics here but if this is considered a discussion thread I think you're only allowed one per post.

 

Why are they considered off topic though? That's pretty confusing since they seem to comply with everything that I'm aware of (strung, resin, the main points of articulation, professionally casted, removable eyes)?

 

@Epona, from the mods, "...we reviewed the human dolls as well - the team decided that Reh-Reh and Sumi are off-topic. We feel that their human body is not fully rendered, and is not suitable to display nude."

 

I wonder if it's the lack of a belly button that makes their bodies deems "not fully rendered".

I was told that middie blythe clothing & blythe shoes should fit a cocoriang child. Has anyone tried it out/what size clothing have any of you tried? Just wanted to make sure it was right before I drop some money on a dress and shoes I found that look pretty cute, lol.

 

Cocoriang is going to be at Doll North and I'm super excited to see their dolls in person. I'm absolutely in love with Mocka.

Has anyone else ordered the new little fox? I ordered the orange one~ I honestly think the white one is a little cuter but orange is just such a unique colour for a doll.

 

Yes, I just saw them today and am tempted to get the white one. The closed eye, smiling face is so darn cute! I know I shouldn’t wait ordering, I’m just seeing if I can get the funds together. Having both face plates would be so nice. The orange is a great fox color. I’ll be looking forward to seeing yours!
Checked my budget, I’ll have to pass. Oh well.

 

I just bought the last Niya in orange from the fabric and friends site. I’m so excited I missed his release but when they first announced his sculpt I KNEW that I needed it

 

So I’m confused are cocoriang anthro dolls on topic or off topic? Saving for one....

 

The small ones are off topic (like Tobi), the bigger ones (like Peppi) are on topic it depends if they have wrist/ankle joints or not.

@GardenOfRoses Do you mean their fox named Niya? If so, it's available in white on Cocoriang's site right now. The orange colour is sold out at the moment, though.

You could get the white one and dye him orange.

Sorry for double post, but I just wondered that because Cocoriang Niya is off-topic doll and I don't think there's posts for reference photos or data and measurements I ask here that if someone owns Niya, I would love to get some measurements and feet size etc. I didn't find that much information about that on the internet. (Sorry I'm very tired and my brain doesn't want to write in English that well.. haha)

Has anyone seen that the #CocoriangSupporters packages have gone out? I was not aware that Cocoriang was doing an "influencer" campaign until today, but I was pleasantly surprised to see they sent Dollastic on YouTube a Tobi for free! I thought it was a great way to share the hobby with adult collectors.

 

I was so excited to see Dollastic chosen I’d love to see more content from her about him

I saw that Crail is up for order, but I'm not sure how I ask for a layaway? Like, what are the terms?

 

Put a Crail on pre order! I’m so happy! I passed on the first pre order, and decided I had to get one. This is my second CocoRiang doll, and not my last.

 

I made the last layaway payment for my arno at the beginning of the month. I ordered him without faceup, so I hope he'll be on his way to me soon! I love shiba inus, so am so looking forward to it

 

I'd really love to have a Tobi but in gray. Does Cocoriang ever do gray resin? They have pictures of a gray Tobi on their site

 

They did grey releases in the past, yeah. You can try asking them if they'll do a rerelease in the future

 

Finally caved in and ordered Crail late last night! Also plan to order Ruppe and Peppi if they ever re-release them...

Oh wow Arno arrived and he's perfect! I haven't got any pics ready yet... but holy crap the presentation and packaging was so awesome! I love the packaging for their eyes (it has a card with a little cat face on it, with the eyes tacked to it and it's soooo cuuuute!) And the little postcard with care instructions, the little business cards, the CoA and the little round doll box are so gorgeously designed, I am in awe! Everything about this unboxing was so cute it was like heaven! I might be dead from the cuteness lol
