Shopping Clothes for 80-85 cm dolls?

You may have luck searching taobao through a proxy. "Uncle size" dolls are gaining popularity in China especially. I use BJD Bhiner personally but I'm sure someone else has suggestions.

 

Bumping this thread a little in case any new stuff came up. I have the ciel 2d 80 cm on layaway and have been super unsure how to go about buying a basic outfit so he's not hanging around my house nude while I figure out how to make stuff for him.

 

I was just looking for large doll clothes yesterday (although not in the 80cm range, shopping for a 69cm Zenith body) and I did see some in the larger range across some sellers. If you're using a proxy, I liked Pandabuy because they had a "find similar" option. I could paste an URL in and it would allow me to look up similar types just in case they didn't have my sizes. I did see a bunch of people carrying 70cm+ sizes. Uncle68/Popo68 fits my doll in measurements (he is a Souldoll Zenith Chu) so if I saw a 1/3 or smaller I would use "find similar" to look for items that might have been in his size. I saw a lot of... Dragonsoul? I think that were larger size clothing. I don't know what size they run though.

giving this a bump because, once layaway is finished, i'll be needing 85cm T&D sizes as well.

 

Another nudge to the thread, to see if anyone has any new news. Now that I have my big guy in, he’s needing some duds. And shoes >_< But I’ll wait to tackle that hill another day!

 

I saw some stores on Ali Express that use dragon soul 80 as a size.

I'm having a little trouble on bjd bhiner finding it since I can't search straight from Taobao. I'm having that issue with Taobao where it ate my phone number and messed it up since I don't speak Chinese to have done it correctly ;-;. Links appreciated.

 

Hmm, I'll have to go look through AliExpress and the such, and see what I can find. I didn't think to look there. My first thought was to find a seamster on Etsy.

I've looked at Aliexpress, and it's very slim pickings. So i'm still wanting to see if there is anyone on Etsy that makes something this big. Or at the very least, makes basic/easy to sew patterns to buy.
