I had tried a little while back to make a little fat bjd, but ended up abandoning the project due mostly to lack of time. It's now 2021, I'm getting cabin fever from being home 24/7, so I thought it was a good time to get my hands dirty... especially since I got frustrated trying to find a doll that would fit my requirements for a certain character of mine this girl is planned to be around 25cm, to go with my 1/6 dolls. I'm using air drying clay (plastiroc) which I know isn't the most sturdy option out there, but it's what's easiest to find, and I like that it doesn't require baking there is still a very, very long way to go, but at least for now this is kinda fun
slow day at work, so I was able to continue working on this girl I can already feel the head will be a major pain in the ass... but eh, part of the fun is figuring out how to make this work I guess
Some progress. I wasn't happy with the hip joint which made sitting difficult, so I'm trying something different. Slowly starting to work on her limbs as well. She is a little slimmer than I'd like, so I'm going to rectify that in the coming day.
It has been a while, but I've started working on Arty again After taking the picture, I'm realising that her proportions aren't quite right. So the next step is to shorten her arms a little and lengthen her legs. I want to keep her a little shorter than the myoudoll pictured next to her, but right not she's really too short. I'm pretty happy with the shape of her torso though, and her face is starting to get somewhere at last
