Swap Christmas PJ Swap 2023

Remus's package arrived today, from @CloakedSchemer and Cassie! And oh my gosh, guys, she added so many extras! I've got a guess as to what the "main set" was, but I couldn't tell you for sure. So! Here's how it went.

R: This is more than you're gonna get for yourself this year, isn't it.
S: Yeah, my family doesn't do Christmas gifts beyond candy in stockings. This is more presents than I got in the last three years.
R: I'd feel sad for you, but I just want to open my presents.
S: Yeah, yeah. At least let me read your card first.




R: Now that we've read the card, can I open the first one?
S: No respect for her work, I swear. Look how cute her handwriting is!
R: Give me the red one.
S: *sigh*




R: Ooo! Nice. I've been thinking about getting one of these tanks for a while.
S: Try them on!
R: But...more presents.
S: You can have more presents after you put on these ones.
R: Fine.




R: Okay. I'm wearing them. Definitely glad I've got one of these tanks. Now can I open this one? It says "yummy" on it, so maybe it's food.
S: Thank you. Yes, you may open that one now.




R: This is not food. It's definitely cool, though!



R: How do I look?
S: It's a good look for you. I should make you more beanies.
R: I could steal Kazumi's.
S: No you can't. Kazumi lost hers.
R: Dang it. Big present as consolation prize?
S: *facepalm* Sure. Big present as the consolation prize.




S: ...
R: Dude. This is a whole extra set. Cassie went wild.
S: Well, go ahead, try them on!
R: I just put these on! Wait, I know...

***TWENTY MINUTES LATER***

A: Okay, why am I in "your" clothing you've never worn before?



R: Because I like seeing my girlfriend in my clothes. And because Cassie sent like a ton of stuff and I can't wear it all at once.
S: The colors look nice on you. They match your eyes.
A: Thanks. I'm opening the next present as my reward for doing this for you.
R: Aw...



A: Oh, yeah, you're not getting these back. They're so cute!



A: Look at the little pointed toes!
R: It's like they were made for you.
A: ...
S: ...
R: ...Because you're a dancer? And you point your toes all the time?
S: That was horrible.
A: Why am I dating you?
R: Because I'll let you open my last present with me?
A: I don't think that's the reason, but okay.



A: Oh! You've gotta put this one on yourself. Much as I like your arms, seeing them while hearing the storm outside is making me cold by proxie.



R: This is pretty comfy! Why does it have a matching skinny scarf, though?
S: ...
A: ...
S: That's the robe tie.
R: ...Oh.
A: You are so lucky you're cute.

@dm_sof So....I'm not sure what the "main" part was either because I kept getting more ideas. Also like just a few days after assigning partners, my own Feeple60 boy body arrived for my boy, Jarppi, and I was pretty excited to actually have the same body and got really motivated! And on top of all of *that*, I also had too many good thrift store finds to decide on just a couple of pieces. Cassie definitely is the type of character to go all out for a Secret Santa partner, so it fit her character too. Glad everything is useful! Even if half of it got stolen.

 

You have no idea how happy I am that they use thrifted fabric. I did the closest I could by pulling from something larger I'd tried to make that was unsalvageable for my creations, but it's still fabric I bought new at one point.

 

Today, I got my swap gift from @Tokimimotaku and Lukka!


Cassie: This box is huge!

Cassie: Cards! From Toki and Lukka!
Bambi: *whispering* Open the presents!


Cassie: *very delicately opening paper*
Bambi: Just rip into it!
Cassie: No! If I'm careful, I can reuse the paper.
Bambi: Sure, but that's less fun.


Cassie: House slippers! In my favorite colors!


Cassie: Oh! This gown is fit for a princess!


Cassie: Gingerbread people and hair bows!


Cassie: Ohhhhh.....this is my favorite piece of all! It's SO cute! And matches my other necklace!

You're so welcome, glad she liked everything! (and totally ok with your other girls enjoying the bows ^^. I knew if she wouldn't wear them you'd have someone who would) I definitely tried my best to match her style, she definitely looks good in the nighty. ^^

You are very welcome! The delayed bonuses have been delayed further for reasons which include content warnings of loss, animal illness, and weather-induced vehicular incidents, but I got more work done on them yesterday.
