Chopsticks = Bad

    1. I was going to change avier's hands, since he needed something special besides the new eyes he got... his elastics really tight to I got some bamboochopstick to hold his hand... I put the there.. and they moved. Consequently shaving off some resin on his arm >< It's on his wrists, so its not TOO noticbly, but I still feel bad.
      Even though he looks cheerful still.
      BJD mishaps? ^^;

    2. Just when I thought you could be a little less careful with BJD's... I hope your boy is okay- is it just a tiny shave off his arm? Because that's very hard to notice, so no worries :daisy

    3. Huh?

      Are you saying that the slight movement of the chopstick caused his resin to chip too? That's not right.. something as flimsy as a bamboo chopstick shouldn't do damage like that. *_*

    4. Well if it was REALLY tightly strung it could definitely shave some resin off, though probably not as much as a chip. Severus knows I've managed to shave off little bits, expecially at points like the edge of the neck or edge of the ankles, with the oddest stuff... re-stringing and I do not get along well. 8)

    5. bamboo is a soft wood, it shouldn't dent or chip resin no matter how much pressure is on it :? Is the resin on your doll possibly defective? That definitely shouldn't happen; resin is extremely durable -- all my dolls have faceplanted from window sills onto hard floors and they've survived unscathed.
