ok so i've been working on this for a while and i finally got my clay in the mail so now i can upload work in progress pics c: This is my bjd girl i named Chiharu from a horror manga I read. I liked the name so i decided to name this project Chiharu ^_^ The head is made out of super sculpey, it was sculpted about a year or so ago. I never did anything with the head so now that i have this project im going to use this head for now. I do plan to sculpt a new one eventually.
Cool! I like the shape of the torso so far,especially the shape of the stomach. Are you planning on cutting through the pipe when you're ready to make the joints?
really? thnx XD i think she looks like a preggo. lol im still learning to sculpt the female form. Yeah, its one of the reasons i chose to use pvc pipes, because I can just sand the pipes and make the joint fit.

She looks so relaxed and lumpy, which I think is beautiful. The shape of the ribs go so well with her body, too. I totally agree with SilverAsh that she looks really good.
SilverAsh: me too c: i was actually going for that look but its hard without making it look pregnant. xD I found some good reference pics though. ^_^ Im thinking of just sculpting the legs then casting them, then cutting them at the knee and jointing them. Im still not sure what im going to do though. I just don't wanna smash the detail i sculpted while making the joints, its pretty solid clay but i can still ruin it with my hands if im not careful. Dry Oak Leaf: bwahaha! lumpy, i love it c: I just hope I like how it turns out. Im trying to give her a belly and make her look natural, not like the flat supermodel stomachs i see on other bjds, but i don't want her to look pregnant or fat, just thick and round belly :3
She's looking great! So far I'm loving everything, it's hard to describe, but she looks so cuddly with that belly. I'm also loving her face, those lips are to die for!
