Charm Doll Renard (naked doll)

Hello! I wanted to share a little box opening for my first doll in 3 years - Charm Doll Renard. He was shipped after 10 weeks. There aren't many owner pictures of this company, so I thought it might be useful to someone.

The doll box was inside another sturdy cardboard box.

He was packed really well. Also inculded were his CoA, a pair of eyes and spare hooks in a cute bag.

Here he is! He's a lot bulkier than I expected for such a cute boy! The resin is smooth, thick and sturdy. No seams at all. The color is very nice, not too pink.

You guys, he is sooo heavy! I've never had an MSD this heavy and sturdy. He was strung extremely tight, I can barely turn his head or bend his knees, but he stands like a rock. I don't think I could get the head off even if I wanted to xD

The hands and feet are nicer than I expected. He has strangely thick ankles though.

His arms pose really well, but otherwise he is strung so tight that he can only stand or sit.

The faceup is a little disappointing. It's very faint (the photo makes it look darker), a little smudgy, the eyebrows are uneven and the eyelashes fell off when I put in his eyes.

Overall, he is great quality and I'm happy, but he might need to have his stringing loosened somehow and the faceup is not that great.

 

And a couple quick photos of him dressed up. His clothes haven't arrived yet, so he's borrowing my other doll's things. I decided to name him Theo.
