I just bought a normal skin CD18 body and it is gorgeous! Skin tone match for sng switch and 4sdoll heads are a pretty good match too!

 

@Hyakkiyagyo Thanks for sharing this info. I've been collecting options for a Switch head The question is: do you mean normal yellow skin, right, not normal pink? Or..?

 

yes I mean the yellow skin ^^ The proportions are just right IMHO. Not too bulky, or too skinny.

Does anyone know what the tanned resin from Charm Doll looks like? I guess I can assume that it looks like the Loong Soul tan, but it would be nice to know for sure! If anyone has pictures, it'd be appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: I'm curious what normal yellow looks like as well!

Just popping into this thread to say I just ordered Nastya! Her sculpt is so perfect for my OC. She'll be my first resin BJD, I'm so excited!

 

@Artemis Congratulations, I'm thrilled for you! I can't wait to see pictures when you receive her. I'm very interested to see how she will change after you customize her in the future.

 

I'll be sure to post pictures when I get her! I'm planning a weird fantasy-gothic-gypsy-medieval style for her so we'll see how that goes. I've heard the wait for Charm Doll is generally quite long, hopefully I'll get lucky!

 

@Artemis Oh, wow! That is very interesting, I can't wait to see! I'm not quite sure what I'll do but I'm very attached to the idea of using her for a Bloodborne aesthetic.

Hello all, would like to ask you how similar are Charm Doll's face ups to the ones shown on their promo pics?

Cause their face ups are gorgeous for the 1/3 sculpts!!

I am so enraptured by Dunn, and since his release I've been itching to order his fullset.

Apologies for the n00b question, does anyone know what is the current waiting time for Charm Doll? Does it match up with Loongsoul?

 

The average waiting time seems to be 3 months. Quite a bit of a wait, but still not quite as bad as Loongsoul's!

Wow, three months is actually quite normal, I was worried it was gonna take 5-6 months average, LOL. Indeed, it really isn't as long as LS.

Hey guys! Does anyone have a charm doll Nastya? I love their sculpts but I can hardly find any owner photos.

 

I've fallen head over heels for Dunn! He's just stunning and the moment I saw him, the character formed. I'm hoping to order him this month (please Christmas, be good to me lol). Looking at what others have said, the wait time appears to be reasonable which is great.

Edit (12/25/2017): I've ordered him! He is my Christmas present to myself.

 

I'm going to look at placing an order for Renard very soon QwQ he's simply perfect and precious. I'd love to see other's adorable pics of him

 

I've ordered one, actually! I'll definitely post pictures when she comes. Should be pretty soon I hope, it's almost been three months, which I've heard is about the average wait time! There's also a few owner photos of her on their Weibo.

Popping in again to say that my Nastya shipped today!! Finally! I'm sooo excited. I'll definitely post pictures once I get her!

 

My Nastya came today!! =D I'm still reeling over how beautiful she is. These are just shoddy pictures I took with my phone, they DEFINITELY don't do her justice, but I'll get some better ones tomorrow!

Her faceup is a lot closer to the company photos than I thought it would be! It's way nicer than I expected, especially from past reviews Charm Doll has gotten. Her face has this thin coating of glitter and it's super beautiful, especially against her peach-pink makeup. Her eyewells are pretty dark and hard to photograph, but that's probably because of the default eyes she came with. I'll probably get her a different pair later. You can see them a lot better when the flash is on, though!

Interestingly enough, she came with the exact eye color of the character I'm shelling her into! I mean, what are the odds of that?! :O You can't see the color too well here, but they're reddish pink.

 

Just got Ethan in my mail today! The official photos don't do him justice, he is more detailed than in the pictures.

 

is there a box opening you did or could you please post some pics?

@xalogel I remember seeing your Ethan on Instagram and legit just being floored by him. He really is a stunning doll. There's so much colour on his face that the official photos couldn't pick up on in their low lighting. It makes me curious as to how Dunn's face up would be too since his pictures were quite dark aswell.

 

@xalogel I've been wanting to see owner pictures of Ethan! Do you have any profile pictures of him?

 

Heya Insta friend! Haha, I've seen a few Dunn user photos and the face up looks pretty good, even on white skin.

I'm actually not as pleased with the company faceup of Ethan, as it is a lot pinker than it looked in their photos.

So I'll be sending him for a custom faceup soon

I read somewhere on the site here that they (CharmDoll) are having some delays. I'm also guessing its taking longer for the both of us as we requested face-up for them. Hopefully soon, though!

I left a comment for Charm Doll, but maybe someone here can help too! I've looked on both the Charm Doll site and Loongsoul for example photos of their resin colors together, but I haven't found anything yet. I know I want an Ethan or Hugh, I just don't know what color!

 

Sean is finally out, but he is dressed differently than how he was shown in Shanghai Doll Party 5.5



The new look on him looks great, but I wish he had the prince look instead .. The sculpt is really pretty. I hope someone on this board gets him so I can see more of him without hurting my wallet XD

@CoverGoth I cant help you much but I have loongsoul Fusang in white, and she is truly white skin. The white is the whitest of all the white dolls i have (Iplehouse angellstudio and volks) it is paper white with cool tone, slight creaminess to it.

 

Uwah, I asked Alice's Collections about how my order was going, and they replied that they received my Charm Doll Back Ghost Jonasson about a week ago. >w< They sent the head to Ringdoll, because I ordered a body from Ringdoll with matching resin color. I'm so excited, even though it'll most likely take months to make the body. OwO
It took five months for Jonasson to be completed, this doll really wants to make me wait!

 

I LOVE Sean. I can’t wait to see more of him! I personally prefer the darker look to the prince look, but versatility is the point of the hobby, right? A little something for everyone!

 

@Saapas I had no idea ringdoll made color matching, I love a few of their dolls but not the bodies - too muscular for me, but its still good! I know the wait will be worth it when he looks exactly like you want him to I hope he arrives to you before the year end so you can spend the holidays together!!!

@CoverGoth He is so beautiful yes? I love his face sculpt so much and charmdoll dont seem to be very common, or maybe when compared to fairyland and volks. The dark look is amazing, but theres something about princes, looking meek and the gentleness that I cannot resist XD You also have an Ethan? I hope to see you post him, he has such a unique face and full of personality

I caved in, I asked if I can have the prince makeup on him and they said yes so I ordered a Sean in white with the prince makeup lol XD That discount event was too good to pass. Im excited for him, and hopefully he matches the long nail legend doll jointed hands. The sister company LS has amazing resin, so Im sure CD will have just as good resin hopefully

I asked them, but they do not sell Sean head separately. The picture of the head separately on the website is just to show how it looks without faceup
