40–49cm Dolls Charm Doll Circe Box Opening

Hi all! I thought I'd share some pictures of my newest girl. Back in spring 2023 I had just unearthed my Minifee boy from 2016 and after thinking about selling him I decided that I actually wanted to keep him and get back into the hobby by getting MORE dolls! I found myself browsing doll websites again and eventually stumbled across Charm Doll's Circe sculpt and absolutely fell in love!

I preordered her through Alice's Collections in May for my birthday. I decided to get her in their Normal Yellow resin with the company faceup and fullset wig because I love the way they styled her in the company photos.

Eight months later, she finally arrived!







I also ordered some clothes and shoes for my other dolls from Alice's Collections! This ended up being the only photo I took of them because I was so excited to get to the doll, LOL.



Immediately I was impressed with the smoothness of the resin and the sculpting of her body!





Her posing is excellent--none of my other dolls, even the double-jointed ones, can kneel this easily and hold that pose. I'm super impressed!



Charm Doll nailed her faceup. She looks exactly like her photos! I love the detail in her lashes and eyebrows.



After testing some different eyes I settled on these golden ones.





And here she is in her wig! It's super soft and suits her very well, but I might still experiment with other wigs for her. She'll definitely always be a redhead though!

Overall I'm extremely impressed with the quality and posing of this doll. She's so beautiful and the expressiveness of her sculpt is just as enchanting in person as in photos! This was also my first time ordering from Alice's Collections and the experience was very smooth.

This girl's name is Finch and she will be a little witch! I feel a little uncreative going with that theme since it's how she was styled in her fullset, but I think it suits her so well. I'm really excited to sew her some clothes and I'm so happy to have her in my collection!
