Deedee71, welcome to the slippery slope. I started out just wanting a special doll or two but the tinies seem to be extremely addctive & so much fun.

Thanks to MuShu & MuJa for working on a new DD thread. She too seems to put something highly addctive in her resin along with a ton of CUTE.

So happy to hear that Rati is soon going to be home MuJa. Lugh too but I am not so sure just who that is? Another of Charles' wonderful creations?

 

Gonna go see if the DD thread got started. I have Moth and Mouse but no Goblets, YET! LOL

Oh wow, a new DD thread, and I love the name, too! Thanks Mu Shu for discussing it with the mods. I haven't started it because I've been a bit busy, I'll try to get some photos this weekend if no one else has a chance to start it first.

Dragonlovesdolls, Omi has a great outfit there, so colorful and cute in her jeans and knits.

Jonlyn I'm so glad you're still on these boards! I remember your realpukis very well, in fact I was going through some of my old face-up pictures a few weeks ago and was thinking of you and your little family. Believe it or not, Annabelle is now 17 years old... She's pretty healthy but a bit wobbly and requires extra care now. Hope your pups are well! They're so beautiful.

MuJa, that's good news Rati and Lugh will be home soon! Have you been making anything for them while they were away?

Deedee, these little dolls are definitely addictive, everyone here is telling the truth. It's a great escape into another world where you can be endlessly creative. And the people in this hobby are a lot of fun, kind and helpful. Glad to have you here.

 

Oh Ginnie, I was almost afraid to ask about little Annabelle. I am so happy to hear that she is still with you. 17 is amazing! My pups are both 5 already. There is one Silken on record who is now 20 & longevity seems to typical of the breed so we are hoping for many happy healthy years ahead too. Jax & Keebler the RPs that you did so beautifully, are still looking just as good as they day they came home. I can't wait to see what you do with your new FF. My Trilby Fae still has her default face up although I occasionally give her a tiny touch of blush with pastels. I love her innocent & babyish look so much. I was tempted to get one of the new editions just so I could have one with a more dramatic face up but decided TF is happy as an only child!

 

Trilby Fae is beautiful Jonlyn and to be only child is also not so bad.......got all the goodies .........and she is not really alone there are other members in your crew.

Long time Rait was also the only Firefly, no Fuuga and no Vamp sister in the FloraGang and she was perfectly okay because there are lots of other members in the gang. I love every single doll and they are all part of the FairyFantasy world where I can play and enjoy a world different as the daily RL.

Thank you MuJa. I am an only child myself so I know that it can be lonely, even as an adult sometimes. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, some cousins that I am very close to & many friends, but when dealing with the illnesses & deaths of my parents I sometimes felt very alone no matter how many people where with me. Trilby Fae does have many friends so I don't think she is often lonely.

Lol muja and jonlyn, I wish I had been warned before, I have lots of dolls now, and to think I never liked dolls when I was younger, but I am making up for it now

 

deedee71 - that is like a lot of people with their dolls. I've always liked dolls but have friends who never did until much later in life and especially when they found bjd's.

 

Glad it isn't just me, the only doll I liked as a kid was sindy, then ordered one off eBay and found Blythe by accident while looking for sindy on eBay, then that is how I found bjd, my first bjd was a doll zone momo. I have pukipuki which I find too big now, I have realpuki but my favourite are the gorgeous firefly x

 

Oh I love Puki Puki's too, they are so well made and there is one little Real Puki Pupu on my way.
Four years ago I got my first BJD a Puki Puki Madeline, bought actually a Darjeeling but I fell so in love with the Madeline that I notice it only a year later ........yea never been smart. This is Ryuu and a half year later Rati, a Fidelia Firefly Fairy entered my life. Two BJD that is enough............oh really, now I have 23 !!! But only tiny's , I can only handle tiny dolls. The smallest are Donny's dolls and oh yes I asked for his latest cutie .....Dotie the Ladybug.

This will be the last one..........honest..........hm maybe not.

 

deedee, I'm like you. Only liked one doll when I was young, buuuuuut I've certainly made up for it now! lol

 

Lol, I have 3 fireflies, 2 pukipuki, 4 realpuki, dollzone momo, Lati yellow, and a leshy, so I guess I have been good or too skint to buy all of the dolls I adore, heheh lol

Omi got to visit with Trilby Fae last Friday. She had a BLAST playing with all of Jonlyn's wonderful needle-felted creations.
