OOOO! Bippy is just so sweet! I bet he is going to grow up being a wonderful friend and guardian to all your little charges, DollZwize! He seems to have a touch of the fae about him already! And I'm sure TiGGy is going to make sure he is brought up right! Wow, I'm glad you turned up! Looked like we were going to have to have another beer party in Lily's room in hopes of some drunk and disorderlies for TiGGs to come and round up!

Harpo's amazing balancing ability isn't a crime, it's an art!!! Though poking badgers with spoons... well, I guess it depends on the badger and the size of the spoon. No, no keggers here. We drink our Colt 45 out of bottles and cans. Besides, I don't think you can get that in kegs.



Susan B., is that Tedros Fiona is cozied up to? Boy, it was hard to say no to bringing him home! You better keep Fiona away from the Iplehouse site or you could find have the Noctarana Circus camped out in your living room. That's one of the sites Lily is blocked from! She's just a little too fond of those big, muscley boys (sadly for Flick who is more marshmallowey) and I worry some night she is going to find one of the credit cards and next thing I know there will be a Luo and who knows who all else knocking at my door!

WOW!! So much action in one day I just can't keep up. We get one back and another leaves. We are going to have to send these firefly's out in a pack to keep everyone rounded up and online!! Congrats on trips and especialy new ferret babbles. I have lots of furry babies and they all have their special place in my heart. Fiona, I am still drooling and cleaning my computer screen over the hunk of man you found. But,,, it appears other fairies are finding handsome princes out there also. Harpo is just always into something and he is super cute also. I've been lurkin' reading the posts. So much has been happening; hubbies naming fireflies, romancin' among the humans and FFs, and sweet baby ferrets. Honourary firefly member just dropping in to say hi and going back to lurk mode.

 

Waving madly at Coleen. Those are Jackie's handsome hunks of Ipplehouse resin that Fiona is conversing with. She has the most incredible group of muscle bound men. I was drooling like mad. I keep hoping that they come out with the Kamal, Luo or Tedros sculpt in the SID size.

Yes DarkStar, that is Tedros. He is even better in real life. Just an incredible sculpt. LOVE her Luo's too. So don't mention credit cards to Fiona, she really seemed enamoured of them.

Imajica, Inara has a guy living in her woods. Poor Fiona will only get to see Jackie's handsome hunks once or twice a year ... if she's lucky.

Inara does look like she's having some serious thoughts in that first picture.

Countrygirl, Fiona got to look and even touch, but she then had to leave those hunky guys behind. Hmmm, I guess I'm amazingly lucky that she decided to come back home with me and not stay with Jackie.

Muja, you've got such a huge task, setting everything in order after all that house remodeling. I hope you find time to play soon. I'm sure it will be a relief to get everything settled into place.

 

MuJa, think how wonderful it will feel when everything is organized just the way you want it to be! I know it must be a pain right now but it must also feel very good to have a fresh start to make your space exactly what you need it to be! I hope the Floragang is giving you plenty of help, or at least encouragement!

Countrygirl - I can sooooooooooooo relate to hating alarm clocks. My work schedule is always different every week and when I have late nights and early mornings GAH, I cant get used to a bedtime to save my fricken life!

Thanks Darkstar, trust me Bippy is still so very young he actually only sniffed lil Tiggs, I wouldnt be trying this in a few weeks let alone months LOL!!! But for now, OMG they are sooo cutie together, and indeed during his babyhood Tiggs is doing her Dangest to watch over her lil Bippy.

Also, I second your opinion on Donny's new girl- LOVE. I'm a sucker for joints, must say, and if she turn out half as amazing as she looks i'll be head over heels. Speaking of Donny's dolls, I was making Kite do a headstand today for fun, and I was chatting with my boyfriend about pukipukis, and I was talking about the famous pukipuki one-armed handstand (the one that Harpo is so adorably demonstrating for us several posts up) and sorta put K in the position to do it, to demonstrate- and he stayed like that without me holding him. I was so dang happy.

Thanks for the kind words about K's poster and my new avie- though i think i'm going to make a new avatar very soon, this one isn't quite doing it for me.

Better be careful, Inara, or there'll be some little green Squees running around soon.

I hope to take some pictures soon, Lucy's been feeling rather neglected lately. Sorry little one! Her and Kite seem to be up to something. JoJo's been keeping a close eye on them and he seems really upset, muttering something about "..jerk wants her to run away to the circus, I'll give him something to run away FROM..." and then sighing.

I've got a grand scheme in mind for the future but this is me so who knows if it'll work out.

 

HOw old is Bippy? He looks so perfectly ferret shaped that I cant tell. He is so so cute. Love him hugely.

Imajica, I love the photo of Boon and the wolf. I've been lusting after that wolf for a long time. ElfQuest got me back into comics as an adult and is one of my very favorites. My resin kids seem to have quite a few dragons, but I've wanted to do a set of wolf riders.

Spookyjester, we need to see Kite's handstand. And poor, poor JoJo. Imajica is right, he's going to need a gray wig before all is said and done.

LOL, The above Fairy is Soom's, and while Soom's Fairy is pretty.... she's no where near as awesome as the drawing I saw of Donny's Fairy!!! (Donny's Fairy will if at all possible, be the Fairy that fills the FF hole in my collection!)

Ah thanks for clearing up the picture. The Soom mini Gem is a beauty, but I want real feet on my fairies. I'm really excited that there is going to be one that is Firefly Faerie sized from Donny. Fiona would like a friend. It's also going to be wonderful for all those wanting little fairies that couldn't get one before now.

 

I believe the Soom doll is actually pretty big, 30 cm or possibly more. Not a nice little dainty faerie like we are used to! She is gorgeous, but I do not want to get into that size (or what she is probably going to cost by the time you add in the wings and outfit and wig and all the stuff Soom charges extra for)!

Howdy Leopardessmoon - you dont have to be a member to post or look about on Resin Cafe but even if you are one, its hard to find stuff on there.

Susan, but its soooooo tempting to want want want one of those - Especially Tedros OMG!

Boon is simply stunning Imagica, I could never get tired of looking at him! He does indeed seem to have satisfied Inaras very particular tastes and sensibilities quite perfectly - how incredibly wonderful that he was so meant to be hers too!

Bippy was sold as 6-8 weeks old but he seems incredibly tiny to me, so I do worry about him. He just seems so incredibly young, but each day he does seem able to do something he couldnt the day before, so I am so hopeful he isnt too young. I would never trust a larger Ferret around Tiggs, but Bippy is still so very baby tiny and gentle that for now she is his protector, soon I believe he will be hers! Tiggs thinks he is going to be an awesome deputy at ferreting out crime! LOL!

EDIT - Howdy there Darkstar! I so so so agree - and I believe she is supposed to be 9cms?! Am I right on this? Just a little smaller than Bunko - OMG!

I'm guessing maybe about 9.5-10 cm since Bunko and the boys are 11 cm. She will be smaller than the FireFlies. It makes me so happy that so many people who wanted FFs and can't get them now have a chance at a similar doll. Though, of course, we don't know if she will be considered on-topic here and, even if she is, she's going to need her own thread. But faeries do like to visit with each other!

 

I am so sorry for the confusion---but I was confused! I haven't been on Resin Cafe for a long time (forgot my password) and the Soom fairy was the one in the news thread today--I thought it was the fairy being talked about.
But oh my--THANK YOU for the link. I honestly had tears in my eyes as I read about the new special fairy that is coming from Donny and the thought that there will be lots of new little fairy guardians to share the magic our fireflies have started!!
