Thank you for the warm welcome, really really needed it. It was an awful moving back but we made it !!!!.

So many little fairy's new in the thread (and the caretakers too) happy to meet you and lovely FiFi transformed into Fiona.......great name. I saw bigger BJD's as companions for the lovely Fae's and I saw a potty trained more as beautiful dragon........oh guys I missed you all so much.

I hope to finish my workroom next week and unpack the stuff I need to send some people stuffsies, my apologies for not sending things as shoes and Kelly's ..............hmm that sounds awfully familiar and Duch...................... but I promise it will not take a year........

The Floragang is waiting for their houses to be redecorated too and they are more as tired waiting in empty suitcases without furniture and supplies. Rati took care of my aching back, the heavy lifting was a disaster for my bones.

 

Hey Judy, sorry you could not find my long winded story (lolz) what happened in short was that I left Dolpa on Saturday with some others, and we had all our stuff loading into my car, and what I think happened is that a passerby swiped my carrier (thinking it was way valuable I am sure) We got in the car and drove off unaware that it wasn't there. I didn't discover it till I got home. By some fortuitous event, three others were on the same block going to their car and saw my bag with doll pillows spilling out of it, and with my limited Little Alice that I had just picked up that day still in it. They took her back to her hotel and she was returned to me the next day. My other doll unfortunately was gone, but my wonderful amazing friends went the next day to the Volks staff and asked to be able to do a FCS doll to replace her for me. Volks was incredibly caring and went out of their way to make this happen. It was truly so touching. And that was that!
Muse Star, did you pick a litter pan that co ordinated with that lil beastie on purpose?

Stella Maris I have been thinking about your story all day, and its hearbreaking because i can just so imagine what all you went through, and then its so incredibly heart warming, Heavens, the very worst, then the very best in people. Wow. I guess baby Alice was tucked down so maybe they didnt even see her? OmiG-d. I so so so worry about Tiggs so I really felt your story on so very many levels... I cant wait to see your new Quinn, that will be truly something to be cherished.

Oh Fiona - I already ADORE you! Susan I SO Love how your husband couldnt even remember what the dolls are called but had that name firmly in mind - indeed Fiona it is!!! You do indeed look the sportin sort!!!

So incredibly glad you are finally in your own home MuJa, Tiggs has been wailing missing her Floragang Peeps!

Which reminds me - as to seamstresses - MuJa did that awesome outfit on SpookyJesters Lucy and she does amazing shoes too!

Ok my day was horrid. My poor brave ferret of many years must have actually died yesterday...she did die in her sleep of a long illness that really was supposed to kill her about 5 years ago. She was a brave happy kissing little wonder, and even in her last days when she couldnt really bound about, she still loved exploring and romping up to get a kiss. She was an amazing soul and I miss her badly.

Was Edwina your Ferret? I'm so sorry to hear it. Last week My little dog was killed too. I feel your pain. Our little pets are just truly a part of the family and though they are no longer by our sides, they will forever be in our hearts!

Hugs to your very long and happy life Edwina. You obviously were loved and brought a lot of love into peoples lives, you will be missed and remembered fondly. At the end of the day, that is all any of us could ask for.

Aw Judy, you too. Yes pets are a massive part of our lives, I think most of us on here have close animal companions, I prefer mine over many human company !

 

Awww, poor little ferrett! They are so sweet! So sorry, and you too Judy, it is so painful to loose these little ones.

 

Thank you so much, and Judy I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I have had things happen in an instant and suddenly a beloved pet was no more, or like Edwina, who refused to bow to cancer for basically years.

Edwina was cheerful and chipper to the very end, she loved to wander and had the most wonderful joyous sense of life....

Its really hard losing a pet, no matter if its fast, or its coming for a very long time.

Oh Imagica, Fleur even has teeny socks! Omigoodness, such a sweet sweet family

 

They were pukipuki ones from musestars shop. Phoebe used to wear them to bed lol. They fit just right. Nevstar from Resin Cafe came round last night, we didnt realise how close we lived to each other. She didnt know fireflies glowed. Inara glowed like a little trooper, Phoebes ... nothing. Not a spark. Of course today I tested her again in the back of my wardrobe and there she was. I have no idea what offended her last night but she wouldnt play at all!

Oh, DollZwize and Judy, so very sorry for your losses. It's so hard to lose our little fur kids. There is something so pure in the love one has for a pet and the way our pets love us. No hidden agendas, no "I'll love you if you lose 5 pounds." or anything like that. They truly are a gift and a blessing in our lives. I still miss my Selkie even though it will be a year in October. Sometimes I still half expect to see him come round a corner or go capering up or down the stairs where he liked to play. There's a baby next door (we share a wall) and sometimes when she cried I swear for a moment it sounds so much like him (he was part Siamese so had a really funny meow - people on the phone always asked me if I had a baby there because he used to like to get me into conversations when I was on the phone - he seemed to believe I was talking to him). I like to think he still looks in on us once in a while, at least for his brother's sake.

LOL, MuJa, I don't believe anyone is going to mistake you for any other Dutch person who may not have so good a record of sending things. How long ago was it that all this even started for you? March? I don't know how you managed to do it at all, especially with such good grace and humor. I'd have been on serious medication (if they didn't just decide to put me "somewhere" for "my own safety" where my meds would have been doled out to me by people in white clothes) by this point over all you went through!

Tappindoll, so sorry for your little dog, our pet companions are so dear and close to our heart, no matter the size and no matter the time they share with us. DarkStar it is so odd to hear sounds that is so familiar to your cat, it makes the memory so alive. I still miss my cat too, even it was the biggest bitch ever !

I look and look and look over and over again to the lovely pictures of Phoebe and Merrick with Fleur..............she is so incredible sweet...............

My first task, beside washing, cleaning (again) and the most awful work...........window cleaning..................will be...my workingroom..........yeaaaa after so long living in @&*##j grmph@@*&grr............the result is a true and beautiful working space where I can store and work without constantly hearing comments of the mess I usually made in the living room YESSSsss my own space.
DarkStar, my meds kept me going till now but I am going to detox myself , no painkillers any more and no diazepam, only tea and happy thoughts. This woman is home again.......lol

DollZwize, I'm so sorrry about Edwina and Tappindoll, you know I'm sorry about Bob. Loosing a beloved friend leaves such a hole in our lives. It's never easy. Just know that there is a whole crew here comiserating with you both.

A Fairies Pantry

Oh Tillymoon..........yu's kitchen is so nice! I weally luv the acorn spoon and cup!

dis is whats I found last night.............dah biggy turtle ever! But he be not stay heere, he twed to eat my papa nose off! Bad turtle!



This guy is ginormous! nearly 18" in shell alone! We found him in our dirt driveway soaking in mud, my husband says he weighed nearly 30#. Midsummer wanted to sit on him, but not for long, brave faerie!!!

Tilly Moon, your kitchen is perfect, to collect the herbs, berries, leaves and mushrooms for your potions is a very precise task, but we trust your skill. Rati missed you so much she printed your picture and glued it at the suitcase. I shall make a frame and give it a proper place in the house. She loves to see the pictures of her Fairyfamily, luckily I saved a couple in the pc so even without internet se can look at it from time to time.

 

That's one monster snapping turtle! Midsummer is a brave girl for sitting on him!!! What a cute picture of her and Dandylyons! We will all keep our fingers crossed that your little Squee will get there for her birthday! Now we just have to hope those two don't think Squee is a little toy!!!

Tilly Moon you are wise saving for winter. Its winter here now and I cant say I noticed that Inara has saved very much at all. Clothes and shiny reflective surfaces yup , food ... not so much lol

Midsummer I dont think I have seen your room before, its fantastic. That is one awesome turtle. Good job he didnt try any ninja moves on you, you would have been in trouble for sure!

 

Inara will probably sneak over to Pru and Priss' kitchen and raid it. Then there's always Phoebe to hit up - I'm sure there is plenty of food there though Phoebe is probably not baking so much these days what with having a baby to care for. But, somehow, I don't picture Inara starving. Suppose there are frog legs if worse comes to worse. ** Oh! Did I just say that?! Sorry, Nell!!! **

 

Tee hee--frog legs for Inara--yup I can really see that happening! Tilly Moon does have some pickled frog balls in her cupboard if Nell gets too upset, please tell her that they came from certified organic swamp frogs, not the enchanted handsome prince kind. Tilly Moon tested them out herself.

Muja..........I've been singing that poem song for years. I'm so glad you like it, I wanted to save it for Midsummers birthday. The ginormous turtle has stayed. He's in our pond swiming around. He is nearly 2 feet long from tail to beak. Yep a beak! His head is as big as my hand!

Note that there is no sign of the RP when there is actual work to be done like lighting many candles! He is probably off with his giggle dust somewhere while Midsummer and Twig have to light their own birthday candles!

 

actually...........he is off with his own little bottle of giggle dust. We couldn't trust him with a match, he thinks everything is so funny and was afraid he'd burn down the barn!

I took Razzy to the doll meet yesterday! she was a bit hit. everyone was amazed that she glows! I made Razzy a little loungy chaise to go with her bikini, and took it to the meet. I was asked...can you make this in a bigger size? lol I still have lots of pictures to go through and edit and see what looks good. there were lots of dolls there. so many SOOMs cause Speckle made it to the meet and brought at least half of her glorious dolls. I wish I had remembered to get some pics with Razzy on the giant Sooms! maybe next time

I love the picture with the candles lit. Just magical. And that eclair .... yum. Twig bowls me over. I can't believe how tiny he is standing next to Midsummer. How do you keep track of such a tiny little guy? Keeping the Realpukes out of mischief is difficult enough .... I'm thinking mine might need a leash when he gets here.

Judy, glad to hear you are doing better today. It'll be up and down for a while.
