    1. Hello DoA! I just finished making and painting a chair I made for my doll.

      I think I'll be more careful when I glue the wood pieces next time. It leaks out quite a bit in some area. And paint couldn't absorb into the leaked places.

      Heres my doll "trying on" the chair.

      What do you think could be improved? And what furniture do you suggest I make next?

    3. What a lovely chair. I like the flower touch. You might want to make a second chair and a table so your doll and a friend can share a meal.

    4. I think it is beautiful! I like how you mited the edges on the back rest of the chair.

      The only thing I can think of is maybe that with most chairs the back of the chair is usually not in two parts but goes all the way down, if that makes sense. So you would need to adjust the seat so that it is cut out and the back legs go through it instead of stopping underneath it.

      But that is just a design idea. I think your craftsmanship is lovely!

      I agree with TheDoctor though. I was wondering why the chair seems so long even though it isn't. I think it's because the back legs are more in the front than usual, hence seeming too close. It looks great nonetheless, don't worry! :lol:
      If you want to make another design chair, it's worth taking a look at the "de stijl chair" by Gerrit Rietveld for inspiration :)

    7. Chair is fantastic. I love the unique design, and she looks perfect relaxing on her chair. She would also look awesome relaxing on a chaise lounge :-)
