Amy is cute! It would like to know what size she is also!

 

She's cute! And I also like the Chibbi Lana .

I realized that I never really shared my girl on here but now that she finally has a name I can share some of my better pictures of her. I'm really interested in Chibi Lana and I'm hoping that she releases her as a preorder but I can't tell if she is MSD sized. I thought so but then she mentioned that the feet were around 3.2cm? I've been stalking her IG in hopes of more info! In the meantime, here is Nyla

I've got one Lilas too and I'd like to know if you're satisfied with her knee joint ; personally I find this doll wonderful (face, body, resin...) but those knees really drive me crazy

I think chibi ellana is smaller than MSD yeah. In one pic it looks like she's wearing some shoes I bought for a doll I had that wore fashion doll sized shoes (and they ended up too small for her)

That's interesting about the knees, I thought they had been updated for Lilas. For my ninon I used pipe cleaners bent in half , through her legs. Sueding would work too I'm sure.

 

Yes, I believe the new girl is smaller than MSD. She called her the new "plum" size in that pic that she's sitting next to the MSD. I think it's such a cute size! I can't wait to see her completely finished; face-up and all

 

Thanks for the information concerning the pipe cleaners, I'll try that (even if someone on the web says that the knee channel is so narrow that it could be impossible to use anything but a very thin wire). I'll be back to inform if it works for Lilas

Oh maybe I'm wrong but in that picture (Instagram photo by lillycat cerisedolls • Aug 24, 2016 at 6:10am UTC) I'm pretty sure the smaller doll is the MSD as it looks the same body as the v2 body (used on ninon,ombre etc) and the bigger doll is the new "plum" size. As her hips don't look like the hips on either the MSD or SD girls, they look like totally new hips. I think it's an inbetween MSD and SD size.

The chibi ellana however I'm pretty sure is a new small size.

 

The knees drive me crazy on mine too. I have used some thick wire in them, the pipe cleaners I tried just collapsed on me, and it has helped some. I also glue sueded the hips.

Aww thanks! I think that was my fav too but that wig was for someone T_T I really liked the color on her. I'm still waiting to hear that you've tried the braids

That's what I thought too (I also mistakingly bought those shoes hoping they would fit the moe minifee, that was a fail XD). I went back to see if I missed a comparison shot with them and all I saw was the V2 body with a big body. She's working on so many bodies and heads right now it's hard to keep track from the IG pictures. I'm hoping C.Ellana will still be MSD range, but clothes will probably be even more difficult but if she comes out in D.Tan you know I'm going to have to jump on that!

I agree with you : the knees are horrible. Even when she is lying in her carriage bag, they are dislodged =$ But the body stands up very well ^^

 

Oh, I think i see what you mean. I think I was confused with another picture? I love how big she'll be then; comparing her to the MSD size.

I did go back and see that she did post a height for the Chibi body, 28cm. So she's definitely not msd. I still like her face, I wonder, if the head is oversized it may be able to go onto a msd body.

 

Take a brand new ! My tender and beautiful Milly

 

I just received my pretty kitty from the post office today! They attempted delivery, but I couldn't access the tracking information on mobile so no one was home to receive her. I carefully tore into the box this evening and cannot even begin to describe my delight. Her resin is a soft, satiny matte texture and the color looks so different in shadow - more of a mauve lavender.

Before she arrived, I had a few name ideas lined up, but none of them fit when I saw her in person. Her name is now Oriana.

I took a quick picture of her settled next to my fluffy Sophie, who really wasn't sure about this other cat encroaching on her space.

 

Does anyone have a picture of the minis in these nine9style jeans?? thx!

 

I don't think they'd fit. They fit my minifee girl fine but the wide thighs and hips of the lillycat body just wouldn't allow for it. If i can find the pants in my drawer of doll clothes I'll let you know for sure.

Ooh, she's pretty cute! I like the wig and outfit you chose. I came to this thread to check out these dolls and I must say, they have some unique sculpts. Plus, their bodies are uniquely proportioned.

 

I use a 6/7 but try to lean towards the smaller end. A wig cap can help tighter wigs not pop off (if you're using a large 5/6) but if you have a larger wig, I usually just use macs ear plug silicone or white sticky tack (what people use for setting bjd eyes into the head), double sided tape, or velcro. It depends on the type of wig and how the wig cap is built - I just try to find what works best. If I have horns or something on a doll then I often just use the magnets to keep the wig in place.

 

I just got my Loolou(without a faceup) and when I removed her faceplate one magnet fell out. What kind of glue should I use to glue it back in?
Also, right below her eye she got a long line in the resin, not deep like a scratch but it is very noticeable. Will those kind of marks/lines become hidden below a faceup or do I have to fix it somehow?
Sorry for asking randomly but I just want to make sure that she is "ok".

 

Is she direct from Cerisedolls? You might be able to get a new faceplate if so. The line would need to be sanded and buffed out as it will probably show up darker on the face up otherwise.

 

Yes, she came directly from Lillycat.
Oh ok, that does not seem to be good then.
But is it not normal that the dolls come with some lines/marks on them?
Is there any harm in having to sand and buff away those lines/marks?

 

I would contact Lillycat before you do anything.

 

They sometimes do but none of my lillycat dolls (new or 2nd hand) have ever had any lines or marks on them. I would contact lillycat before you do anything. If she can't do anything and you're not comfortable doing the mods yourself, it might be best to find someone nearby or send her out to someone whose done that type of work before, especially if she's not normal or white skintone.

 

Hello! Maybe this was asked before but, Has anyone tried the classic body with a minifee head? I think it might look too big but just in case. Thanks in advance!

 

Hi everybody! Let me introduce you my sweet bunny )) I like this faceplate much more and don't use with open eyes. To tell truth I have Loolou in grey purple from summer stock sale, she has only open eyes face so I like have two different rabbits)) I love her body, it's easy to pose, and new knees much better than my Kitty Jolie has...

Heads Up! Looks like a sneak peek for the next one. She said she was going to release a "mini" meaning an msd but because Lana was so popular at iDoll she did her preorder first. So, I'm betting this is the next one. No name yet either. Rachelle just posted that one of her cats passed away so I would ask you all not to contact her about this just yet please.

 

Ahhhhh she looks like the dreaming Ninon! She's so beautiful though I don't think I'd be able to get her. The only upside of the new preorder skintone limit is the liklihood there will be a doll I'm scared to pass up because of a blue/purple/grey skintone is now gone.

 

Dreaming Ninon makes sense, I never liked the nose on that one.
The limited skin options definitely make it easier to pass on the dolls. I don't understand why companies go against popular demand, it hurts their sales. Maybe they feel they make less money but they also get less headache??? It was a jackpot with Lillycat dolls. Something always gives when it's too good to be true.

 

Yeah, it'd be nice if there was a system with a poll for like one NS/WS choice and then one for a LE color that people could vote on!

Not sure if I'll get her, though, as I have other dolly plans in the forseeable future.

 

Amy is beautiful but definitely with the lack of any fantasy skin she's much easier to pass up. I'm waiting for Culur's new doll (if she's released in a color I want) or one of Dust of Dolls new Appi dolls. And I'm still paying off my Chibbi Lana!

 

I actually like her sculpt better in the caramel skin. But I'm still not a fan of tans and overall she's not my kind of doll. It sounds like Culur might be going with NS and Tan based on votes ** which makes it easy for me not to have to pine over that one too! I have to finish Lana and Millie . Plus I'm waiting on Depths Dolls Giorria, even though she won't be out again for at least a few months, Jpop doesn't offer layaway so I have to get some saving done!

 

Haven't been on this forum in forever! Kinda took a break from dolls for a while, but I saw a millie choupie for sale and now I'm being sucked back in! She was just sent out the other day, I'll be her third owner, and she's coming in from Spain. I'm really looking forward to her coming in!!!

Yay!!! @Blablette she looks wonderful!! I can't wait for mine to come in. I'm already trying to decide what kind of style I want her to have. Her previous owner gave her a septum ring but I'm not sure if I'll keep it. It looks cute but it'll be harder to find a style that works with it. What do you guys use for clothes for them? They have a unique body so it's hard to figure out what works lol.

@howtobreakaheart Yes, the septum ring will give her an edge, but it might be cool with casual clothes.
Regarding clothes, I sew for mine, so I have less problems. I'd say, if you go for company clothes, leggins with a smaller top work fine, and there is still etsy ;-) Several seamstresses sew for cerisedolls. ^_^

 

@howtobreakaheart I second Etsy! Just search for Cerisedolls or Lillycat and you'll find some lovely options.

Also, some Barbie dresses work as tops, and I've had good luck with dresses made for Minifee. They are loose because of the slim upper body on Millie, but that can work.

 

I love the stuff on etsy but nothing screams out to me yet. I really want to go with like, a brown/mint green color scheme for her clothes I think it'd look lovely with her pink skin.

My newest love! I love this sculpt way more than I thought I ever would. Now I need one in antique pink!

Her face is still unfinished but she's got eyeliner now. I can never find my box of lashes, never!!!
Wig is by Delfine/Dark Tales; it was made for an Asella Radicelle (which is between a Littlefee and a Minifee), it's a bit loose on Millie but the longer I have it on her the more it's hers.
She's got one really cranky knee! I didn't have this with my KittyJ.

You could try hot-glue sueding. I never noticed the knee really because she just.... sat there. Ahaha. My ninon is awful. Both knees are terrible TT___TT

Oh she was your girl! Glad to still see her around. RE the knees: pipecleaners have massivley improved my Ninon's knees so I reckon proper wiring would do wonders. Something that excites me about Amy is the knee improvement!

Forgot to update everyone when she came in! But here's a semi decent photo of her!

I also found her a really cool barbie dress while I was out and about yesterday and it fit really good as a long top! Now I just gotta find some jeans that will fit her.

 

I'm smitten. I really feel like I need a pink Millie now. I'm not getting over this, I am so in love with this sculpt.

I'd suggest Dollmore but it might be a gamble. I got two pair of jeans several years back for my two minifee girls. One pair fit my shorter minifee perfectly, the other pair was quite large on my taller/wider minifee - that's the pair that fit my KittyJolie purrfectly!
