On another note, is anyone excited for Ldoll? I'll be bringing my girl of course and I'm super stoked to find out what dolls Lillycat will be bringing. I had my eye on a doll in her preview pictures, but I saw she will be fully customizing that one. And while her faceup work is amazing, I really want to do my own, so sadly for me, that's a no go I can't wait to see what other lovelies she will bring though!

 

Excited for LDoll too! Lillycat will certainly have a splendid booth

I'm getting my Ombre back from face-up spa at Ldoll, she's been gone for such a long time, it almost feels like I'm receiving a new doll! xD ...but I also really want a Manon on the cartoon body, I hope Lillycat is bringing one to Ldoll! *keeping my fingers crossed*

Also, has anyone ever tried a wig on a Loonette head? I figure you can just poke holes in it for the ears, right? Are the ears strung or magnetic?

 

i also want to know that. i got a wool wig from natrume on etsy and its beautiful but im worried it wont fit loonette. even tho i ordered size 8-9 i tried it on a pullip head (9-10 size head) and it still fit big >_<
to me it looks like the ears might have pegs that fit into holes in the head? but magnetic would be great! im curious!

 

I have just measured Sophie's head (my cream Loonette) and it is 8 1/2". She came with her original carrot wig that is more 8" but has elastic. There are holes cut for her ears to go through. I am planning on making some wigs too.

The ears have elastic not pins. So you can move them into all sorts of quirky positions. I just love these bunnies!

Thanks for the links. I have one of raouken's corsets. They are truly amazing. I guess the sewing machine will have to come out of the cupboard next week. Poor Sophie needs some new clothes too.

They wear SD size shoes for their big bunny feet, and can fit Barbie size sleeveless tops as well, which is really handy.

Hmm, apparently my bunny's status is "preparation in progress." I wonder if that means that she is being painted?

 

when did you order? i ordered within like 15 minutes that they became available for sale, so they might be processing them in order of orders placed? your may be in the second wave or something, but thats just my guess

 

I ordered mine pretty quickly too on the first day of ordering, both with face-ups and she has now left France according to the tracking number. YAY!!

 

I've been lurking on this thread for a bit now because I think these dolls are really awesome.

I just received my beautiful girl last week. I popped her out of the box and took some quick photos. I love love love the resin color.

Millie can wear minifee size shoes very well.

 

Millie looks exeptionally well in darker resin colour. I want to order Millie although I'm currently waiting for my Ombre to arrive.

I'm getting my Ombre back from the face-up artist at Ldoll this weekend, I'm so excited! She's been gone for 5 months, and I just can't wait to have her back and play with her. She's going to get só spoiled at Ldoll..

 

I ogled all the pretty's at Cerisedolls stand at Ldoll past weekend but could resist the temptation (a tan Manon ) and just played with the Manon I already have XD

Ahh my Loolou shipped yesterday!

 

I just wanted to share my precious Ombre with you. She's my first bjd and I'm so in love with her sculpt.

 

Loving my girl, i've made her this top based on a Yo Sd top and it fits quite nicely

well, my lil grey bunny came yesterday, and I am so in love! What a fantastic creature, I cannot wait to paint her!
I LOVE her.
She can use some hot glue, I think I will be smart and do this before painting not a##backwards like I usually do.
I think I will be fashioning her an outfit...
Do we have something somewhere for what fits the cartoon body?

 

does anybody bought a Loolou or a Loonette in grey purple? I absolutely loove this doll, hope to sell my Garnet to buy one, but i'm surprise to not to see them in this thread, and just one on flickr :/

She had her sueding session yesterday, I hope to be able to throw some paint on her this weekend. She is really lovely in person DollInk, I will take photos this weekend. I am totally charmed by her. Still thinking about her name, so far she is Little Rabbit Foo Fou...

Does anyone have pictures of their girl with a monique wig? I'm thinking of getting one in size 5-6 as they are usually quite stretchy but i don't want to get stuck with a wig that won't fit!

 

My doll wig from monique 5-6" "bubbles" - sits very tightly - it is too small and is periodically removed. Beanie under it are not worn ((

Hmm that makes it difficult, i don't mind tight wigs but i don't want one popping off, the Leekeworld 6-7 one i bought was massive on Ombre , even with a wig cap it would be roomy. Its a shame more companies don't do in between sizes. Thanks for sharing, your girl is beautiful!
