Liquoricefairy: I'm thinking too of getting a Constantine on the next preorder, but a cream

 

Ooh! Thank you!! I think it will work! My Manon head came on Thursday, and I've only had time to look at it for a little while, but I think he already has a name. Ugh, that means I'm going to have to order a body! Maybe I can play with wigs today and see if anything clicks.

I redid my Ombre's faceup today and while I was at it, did the second plate and a full body blush. It was dark by the time I was done though, so no pics yet :c
On the plus side, I should have her wig relatively soon. My friend is getting new furs, one of which is a slate/old kind of pink, which I loved since I first saw a tiny swatch piece of it two months or so ago. So hopefully those will arrive soon and she can make me a wig :B

 

Oh well... talking about my Manon's spare head the other day inspired me to finally put it on her... I love how those turquoise eyes glow!

Lillycat made a mistake with the orders so the blue ombre I got at the sale was given to someone else. Sucks when I got the mail that said my order was registered :/ I got one reserved for a later Ombre-preorder though, so next time I WILL get one.

EDIT: Scratch that, she went out of her way and made my doll happen after all. Talk about great customer service. I hope she gets sent this week.

 

Thank you very much Stella Maris! It's great to have a spare head to change her look from time to time, I wish Lillycat would sell spare heads with each pre-order!

Thanks Blablette! It's not her name actually. It's Tegeirian, which means orchid, so I'm trying to name her photoshoots after different types of orchids xD because I'm lame like that.

Oh Prege I love your Manons, they look fab! How did you manage to get that long-sleeved top on Manon? I've been having such trouble all this time finding some long tops because they all seem to have such thin sleeves that the hands might not go through?

I received my blue Ombre on Friday! I love her so, so much. Lillycat has been so kind to me, and I'm already waiting to order Constantine in grey purple so she can have a sister who looks just as alien. Gosh I love these dolls! Imagine getting a sleeping/dreaming head for Constantine... that would be something.

I can't wait for my dreaming loo and option loonette head too!! They were due 90 days after order, so should be the end of Sept if all is on time. But...... seems to be quite normal now to wait longer

I do have one question. How do you all deal with their legs? I don't have any experience with Cerisedoll sculpts and I've noticed that my girl doesn't like to stand at all. She's not what I would consider loose, but her top part of her leg will fall over the lower part when I am trying to stand her...

 

Have you tried a little hot glue in that area?

 

OOF- yeah, those knees... You might try sueding. I haven't done it on my girls but I keep meaning to.

 

I just come back from the post office where I have picked up Stella, my Millie Choupie, and she is perfect! I love the dark tan (I was afraid I wouldn't like it because of the crimson undertone, but it's a beautiful rich, dark, brown color to my eyes). I had eyes, wig and an outfit ready for her :

I've finally ordered my Constantine in caramel yay! I've had to sell a couple of my other dolls to scrape up the funds to get her, but she will be totally worth it! Now the wait begins... if the dolls would ship by Christmas that would be the best Xmas present ever!!!

This weekend I ordered the grey purple Constantine. I could not resist! I am super excited!
I have a few dolls that desperately need face-ups, but when I get Constantine I am thinking about pairing Ombre and Constantine with matching faceup/blushing of some sort. Not sure how yet, but it's in the making at least, haha.

Aww thanks so much for the congrats! yes the faceup really drew me to her, she looks so fae like, i've been stalking the Esthy Flickr pictures while waiting for her to arrive, i've ordered Constantine in caramel with the lillycat faceup to be her sister (in a few months!)
