Cerisedolls Mini Discussion part 1

You may know this trick, but before I did I made some really annoying boo boos, mark the correct polarity with a Sharpie before you put the glue on, this way no chance of gluing in the wrong way and then (good luck with this part) having to pries it out after you realize you effed up.

 

I really hope that you'll receive yours by the end of the week.
Yesss I saw the new color and apparently a Caramel or Tan Constantine is planned

PS/ Yes her look is decided but the artist I'll trust with my Ombre is fully booked right now with the Ldoll.
So I guess I'll need to be patient and wait.

Congrats on your new girl, Bababaloo! She is absolutely stunning. I'm waiting for my own Ombre too, so it's great to see they're finally starting to arrive.

I finally got around to making Nami some clothing of her own last week. She's been stealing stuff from everyone else, poor girl. Here she is in one of the sweaters.

@Snow Yes the color is lovely but really difficult to capture.
I can only tell you that she's divine and that the colour is more lovely in person

WinonaFlamery, your Nami is so pretty. She's definitely one of my favorite Millie Choupies. Great job on her sweater~ It looks great on her.

 

I would say the first on this page showing her turquoise eyes is the closesr to her color in person.
But it's really difficult to tell because her color varies with light,...

Bababaloo I think your right about the color being closer to the first one on this page. It's really hard to capture her blue.

If the blue is the same as that of my Colline, the first one is definitely the closest to the real colour.

 

She's heeeeeere and good lord is she magnificent. Wow.
She did come without eyes though. Anyone else missing the default eyes?

 

@Snow: mine arrived with her Default eyes already in the OE faceplate.
Did you Check in all the Lillycat's bag Pockets ? Maybe the eyes fell out inside the bag during transport ?

 

Yeah I checked all the pockets and the box, but nothing :c Luckily I have other eyes for her, but it'd still be nice to have them. I'll send her a message about it. I'm not too upset about it, because she is just too gorgeous.

I managed to snatch myself a blue Ombre with 2 heads from Lillycat's big summer sale. I am super excited to get her home!

 

Congrats on the Ombre! I need a Constantine head for a hybrid I'm planning, but with only one available I wasn't too surprised that I missed it. I did manage to get a Manon head though. Hooray!

Agh. Lillycat should just take a cut directly from my paychecks. I would be very tempted to get a Constantine in cream to take her head and switch out to the Manon head I'm getting.

I'm trying to keep my doll numbers under some kind of control.

 

I was very lucky and got a manon head in cream white, thinking of making her a hybrid with fairyland though so she fits in with my collection better, has that been done before?

I faceupped my Ombre yesterday. First time using pencils in my work, I'm usually more of a fan of paints, but it was a nice experiment and I'm happy about the outcome. I still used paint for the lashes and lips shhh

Snow, she looks absolutely stunning! Those colors are lovely together with her skintone, I also really like the style of her face up in general.

 

Thank you both very much! Her colors were inspired by several types of blue orchids.

I'm having some issues with the lips though, because in a headshot like this it looks good to me, but when I put her on her dressed body, the bright purple just clashes with the pale/slate purples I have dressed her in xD

So I will either try to lighten her lips a bit, or just deal with it xD

 

What a beautiful outfit! The lips in the color of the furcollar would also look nice, I think. Will she get any hair?

She will eventually get hair, yes ^^ My friend makes mohair wigs, but I have to wait for her to order the color I want from her supplier xD It will be a light and old kind of pink.

I'm buying my girl clothes at the moment, and trying to find her a wig (very hard!!)
its being a pain, does anyone have any tips on wigs that dont have headcaps that are to deep, and that don't interfere with Ombre's ears?

I just opened her eyes a little, found some eyes and the wig I had planned fits.

I love this body, it's beautiful. I wasn't so happy about the V1 posability so I was a little afraid of having the same problem again, especially since I am waiting for a Millie and I am planning of getting a Constantine, I feel a lot better now that I have played with the V2 body

 

Oh wow she is just lovely!! I love the parted lips. Glad to hear the V2 body is nice for posing.

I am just a little disappointed by Colline face-up... I tried to add some freckles, then removed them and it's only after sealing her that I realized she still has smudges on her cheeks, but I am not brave enough yet to do her face-up again...

 

Yeah those tiny faceups are murder!!!
they look very sweet.

 

For now, I'll say that her face-up is ... hum... textured... at least that's what I was trying to achieve...

I think both have been done. I would prefer an old beautiful white to go with the cream, but a good blush can work miracle...

Haha yeah snow it is the white Yo-sd fer, I bought it on a whim, hoping that it would fit.
and I was pleasantly surprised, it really does fit like a glove, and I love how it looks like a cute short dress on these girls

Just got my Ombre w/ two heads today and I have a question for those that have her... The magnets on the sleeping head are different than the ones on the open-eyed head also the magnets on the OE head are VERY strong -- very difficult to separate. Are they all this way?

 

I only have the sleeping head and the magnets are indeed strong, but I am stronger...

 

Gosh, haven't been on DoA for ages... loving all the blue Ombre photos congrats!!! I am so very excited about the upcoming Constantine pre-order, she's my favourite sculpt, I've been waiting for one in Caramel for sooo long!! Anybody else thinking of getting one?

All your girls are stuning, i have a milli and manon whit the same body(two heads one body) in cream skin and a caramel ninon, i love the new open eyes ombre but i cant bought her this time, maiby the next time.Here a pic of Mimei my Millie chupi
