    1. Hi,

      Actually working on a new unique doll, a tiny this time. Name Absinthe.
      She will be about 27cm and is a demon girl.
      This is just the beginning still need to work on her :)
      She has a strange face as a lot of character I draw.

      Sandre's are beautiful, Loonette is absolutely stunning and Absinthe has the cutest nose I've seen. I love Loonettes' curvy hips and Absinthes' hips and cute little horns.
      Is Absinthe going to be unique?

    24. no she won't be cast in resin, because I don't like to work with this medium.
      She is made to be strong, so I use woodformo it's a japanese wood paste mixte with ladoll premier. So she is very light and strong.
      She will be carrefully sand to give her a smooth look and then paint.
      I have allmost finish to make her outfit !

    26. thanks, I'm not against the idea of making a association with a doll company to produce a doll one day, like ceberus project with luts for exemple. But to doing that it would be necessery to find a good arrangement for me and to have a whole confidence with this company. So may be one day. But I really hate too much working with resin to start doing more resin doll by myself. I adore designing and the process of doll making, and less mold making and cast. This is why I prefer doing unique doll.
      But is is longer I have allready spend more that 80hours on her, making the doll, the outfit, and I still need to work on her. So the inconvenience of doing unique doll is that at the end the doll will be relatively expensive :s and the advantage is that I haven't the casting process and that I am really happy to do unique custom work on it.

I'm wanting to follow in your path and create 1-of-a-kind sculpts that will have the same qualities (very light and strong) .... would you mind telling your formula and supplies for the Woodformo/ladoll mixture? And any helpful information about using it? :) Thanks So much!

    32. You can use this mixt exactly as other air drying clay.
      For the preparation 50% woodpaste ( or woodformo or any woodpaste) +50% premier ( it's like ladoll but stronger and to finish I had some wood glue the white one here in france I use Sader glue it work pretty well.

      Do you think that bobobie is serious ? I mean the people who work with them here doesn't have any problem to know exactly what they produce ?
      May be it could be interesting, but to do that I will need to sculp a doll especially to be cast in series. May be one day I will thinking about that.

    40. I think for working with Bobobie I am pretty sure one person sent them concept drawings then bobobie sculpted her and the artist approved. And someone else sent them thier own mold which bobobie cleaned up for them.

      I have only heard good things about working with them.

      If you contact Denis on the boards I am sure he would be happy to discuss details with you.

      I hope this helps! Your dolls are lovely and I know I would love to get one of them myself one day. :)

    44. I have finished her hands today. And the other parts of the girl are now paint in light green ^^.
      Loonette my rabbit girl is also finish she is light lavender but still need a face up.
      So I will update this thread very soon with new pics of my two girls
      They look really different than resin doll, but I like that !

    47. 4 littles pics of my actual work.
      The girls are now coated with colored modelling paste. Still need to sand absinthe hand and to paint them. The 2 dolls need to be fully sand before making face up.
      You can also see the fullset for Absinthe on one of the pics.
      Hope you will like them.

    50. Some new pics of Absinthe with her face up. It was a little bit difficult to do has I only use Acrylic apply with pencil, even for the blush. But I want her to look more artistic than my other resin doll it was the good technic for. I am really happy, and it will break my heart to sell her :( But we need to eat ^^ so..
      She will be problably for sale at the end of the week or the begin of next.
