Hi guys! Sorry to bother you all, but I was wondering if you guys could help me find this Doll company whose name I forgot. It's a company whose dolls all looks like japanese ladies. They have a mature body structure (pretty much like Iplehouse's). I don't remember if they were SD or MSD size though. Can someone help me find it? Thanks a lot!
hmmm..that could be quite a few companies, but the first thing that comes to mind for me is DragonDoll. They have very mature sculpts, especially their 70cm boys. And lots of the factory pix were in kimonos and other traditional Asian wear and hair accessories. http://www.dragondoll.com/en/
Nothing you said narrowed it down any. xD Not to me anyway. Do you have anything else? The name of a doll? What the layout of the website looks like? Anything?
Ummm I just remember that it sells only girls and the layout of the web is a normal blog looking website. The part in the middle where they show the dolls is kinda pink (not shiny happy pink, more like salmon less saturated pink) and as you scroll down you can see the dolls one per one, not like in the traditional pages where you see like a lot of little squares showing you the faces of the dolls available. They all have traditional japanese names. That's all I remember right now
No it's not that one The page looks more mature, a little bit more serious with no bright colors. And the girls all all mature looking.
Are you thinking maybe Elfdoll? Their females are Asian looking, and most of the page shows the girls, but it's not one by one. http://elfdollshop.com/index.php
Nop, not those either. Those are realistic yeah, but the ones I'm talking about are even more realistic. As if they had shrunk a japanese girl.
Perhaps ShinyDoll? Shin-sans dolls mostly have traditional sounding names and most look mature. Here's the website:http://homepage3.nifty.com/doi-midori/ShinyDoll/
Was it an actual company, or was it an artist site. Did they sell clothes as well? Was there a design to the background. Do you remember a name of a doll, or maybe what the company may have started with, what letter?
Maybe A+U+C, a Japanese customiser of Unoas? Sounds about right with the salmon pink background, Japanese-styled dolls/names and scrolling.
Not those either. And yeah, I'm sure it was a BJD company. I just can't remember the name no matter how much I try D: And the names of the girls were all japanese. Like, um, Kanako or Ami or something along those lines.
Don't know how long ago you visited the site but you could check your browser history and see if it rings any bells.
How long ago was it that you found the website? Websites do get redesigned, so it may not look the same now if you saw it last year. If the dolls are like Iplehouse dolls, do you think that the company might be one of the bigger companies?
No sorry, it's not Alice dolls. I cannot check my browsing history because I deleted it and the cookies so I have more space and my laptop goes faster. I saw it around the end of last year. I think if it was one of the bigger companies someone would've recognized it TT^TT
go here to view most all of the companies...you can look thru them pretty fast http://www.bjdcollectasy.com/bjd-companies
The only Ami I know is Volks Ami Ayase: http://www.volksusa.com/dolpa21ami.html Did the girls look more anime style or more realistic. As for anime style I can think of two companies that only have girl lines: Volks Dollfie Dream Azone
Was it possibly Iplehouse's special edition Tokyo Story series? Those are the only ones I can think of off hand, but they were definitely done in a Japanese style for the edition.
My money's still on Shinydoll. The website layout, the Japanese company, Japanese names, girls only and especially the unique Japanese character of the head sculpts really answer the OP's description.
The OP appears to have lost interest in their thread. Probably found what they were looking for but never bothered to say so.
have u tried volks? i'm not sure if its the one but i'm just giving it a shot http://www.volksusa.com/super-dollfie-super-dollfie-13.html
