Can your doll do these poses?

My Seph is a DOC Si and he can do: In b/w because the colour version was too dark to see.

3. his waist doesn't bend down enough and hecan't get his legs to bend that much.
6 and 8. His joints prevent him from getting that close.
7. I have no idea what you mean there.

I'm sure if I bended him more on 4 I could get it closer but he's had a hard day with lots of posing so I don't want to push him.

This is my CP El -- all poses are unsupported unless otherwise stated, and he has not been wired, sueded or modded in any way. I did this with just him because you stated you wanted CP boys, but if you like I can try it with my SoulDoll or my Little Fair. ^^

1 - By 'kneeling', do you mean more 'crouching'? Because you said not a praying pose... Just in case, here's both:





He can't crouch with his feet together -- only apart. He also can't lean over very far, due to his lack of a torso joint.

2 - Easily. ^^



He can also do it sitting on something rather than flat on the ground:



3 - Nope. This is as far as his legs can go up, even with his back supported:



I have seen CP boys pull their legs up to their chest, but I don't know if they've been wired or sueded. Maybe their owners are just better posers than me. XD

4 - Quite easily:



5 - I'm not sure how convincing this is....it would probably be more convincing with a blanket. UoU

7 - I....have no clue what this is, sorry. ^^U Do you have a picture of someone doing it?

8 - He can only do the "hear no evil" pose:



He can't cover his eyes or mouth with his hands. If he were wired, he probably could. I think I still have some wiring left somewhere...I could try wiring him temporarily to try it out (I hate wiring, I don't like the way it feels to pose wired joints ) if you want. I hope this helped! ^^

 

SD10 boy kneeling, if he were more loosely strung he could probably kneel sitting on his feet fully - but it does take a bit of balancing to get him like that (also Hound sleeping XD)

I think if SD10 can XD most CP boys could with no problems.


Lastly XD... my hound rock climbing... ~ for a note - my hound can do almost all of the ones you mentioned ^-^ cause double jointing..rocks.

 

Ah, okay. XDD He can kneel like that very easily -- both with his feet apart and together. ^^ And yes, he can bend into the number 3 pose -- but it would take some serious wiring, or stuffing something into his joints to get him to hold it. I'm not sure about him putting his head on his knees though, sorry. ^^U If you did the right wiring, though, any of those poses should be possible.

He can sit cross-legged:



Although it's easier when his back is supported, and it looks more natural. ^^ I think he can do the stretch (though I'm still not entirely sure what it is, sorry ^^UU):



That's as far down as he can go in pants, though. (He can go down all the way naked. ....That sounded dirty. *goes to wash mouth out with soap*)

So yeah, when wired, a CP boy CAN touch his face. ^^

EDIT: Just want to add that he had not been wired or sueded, perhaps with wiring and sueding he can hold the more extreme poses a little better.

 

I'll get him to try it now. It's good to see the difference in flexibility between the different sizes.

He tried to do the pb&j stretch but it hurt his back too much so we stopped. He can bend and cross his legs like in the first lot of pics but he can't bend that far down.
He manged to do the hollywood one though it was a little difficult in his cat costume. ><

7. Do the peanutbutter and jelly stretch? You know... the one that stretch that you do when your feet are together and you try to make your knees touch the ground.



DZ 70 clearly wins this one

It's not 'pretty', because she doesn't have a knee joint, but it's doable...? Not sure if it's hurting the elastic (hope not!)

I think she's kicky, so the moment I take her leg out of the knee, it goes back to a 90 degree angle, so the only way this looks as it does is because her knee isn't able to go back.

Can't do this one! Her leg can only go back 90 degrees, unaided. If I really wanted to, I guess I could push her into it, but I'd rather not force her.

We used to call it the 'butterfly'...
Had to take this one twice, because her underwear was showing; for a 10-yr-old, her dress keeps going up. I wonder if I should've spent a few extra on a shirt and a pair of pants. But this is the best she could do of this
