Hi! I’ve been searching around for hours, but I can’t find that specific tutorial!! So now I was wondering if some of you might have a link to it(I believe I found the link here on DoA). The things I remember is that the artist was using ladoll clay, she (or he) First sculpted a rough model, without details, then she started to sand and add clay, and it tuned out amazingly detailed and life like(I especially remember the hands and feet). I also think she made two dolls, one Girl and one boy. If you believe you’ve got the link, please post it! Thank you very much!(!!!!!)^^
... unless you read Japanese, how does it help? o__o I've been interested in making my own doll, but I'm really dull, and I'd totally mess up if I only had pictures to work off.
The pictures are all in English. I also recommend checking out every tutorial in bjd making that you can find--I believe there's a sticky with a lovely list of tutorials in this sub-forum. Ann in CT
Ah... then maybe I'm not looking at the right thing, because it's all in Japanese for me. .__.;; But, yeah... I'm pretty dull, like I said.
It seems all Japanese to me, too..judging from the pictures, it's an amazing tutorial, though :O *is definetly going to try that method*
she was looking for a specific tutorial, I thought it was this one. She mentioned Ladoll, which I believe is only sold in Asia, she mentioned the hands and feet, she mentioned a girl first then a boy doll, and she mentioned detailed and lifelike. So I was pretty sure this was what she was after... Use altavista if you want the text.
I'm going to try that method too... I don't know if I have enough LaDoll to make one though O.o;;; I got a pack of Premier and laDoll... I guess I'll do the first layer with Premier and then finish off with laDoll
