Camine comparison to different bodies (skintone)

    1. I'm planning on getting my first dollfie, and i've fallen in love with the camine head from DoD, i want it for a girl though, i was thinking about a volks DD2 body, though i'm not sure how well the skintones will match up, i don't know whether to get the pale one or the normal one, camine looks so pale... i was wondering if anyone has comparison images?

      P.S. i know the shall head can fit in wigs 7/8 size, but camine's head is a little bigger, does anyone know if 7/8 would fit, or if 9/10 is too big? i found a beautiful wig on eluts i'd die for T_T

    2. the skintones wouldn't match too well at all X.x DD bodies are much darker than the DOD resin. I'll take pictures the next time I'm with my friend's DD

    3. oh no, thats awful, do you know of any other bodies that would match nicely? i might just have to wait for the DOT girl body to be available, i like other body sculpts better but i think thats probably my only option because of the skintone, all other dolls seem so yellowish compared to the images i see of the DOT x_x

    5. I think ashbet mentioned somewhere that her mini fee normal skin body from luts matched her DOD head really well..if you look for her mini fee comparason pictures, you can see for yourself :) so maybe a normal skin luts body might work?
      as for whether the head would actually fit, I have no idea ^^;; good luck!

I'd suggest going for the DOT body -- I've seen DOTs in person, and they're not at all a match for Luts (BW or normalskin), or, really, any of the other skintones I saw represented, although I could see a Camine head working on a CustomHouse body (Lahoo was probably closest to the CH Chowon at the meetup). I think they might've changed their resin a little bit since he was produced, though.

      They're much paler than most companies' "normalskin", but a different undertone from CP BW.

    8. He was a good match, but the DOT resin seemed to be . . . slightly different? I didn't think the CP body was a great match with the Lahoo head -- the hands and feet are larger on the DOTs, and while the head wasn't an awful fit (we tried Lahoo's head on Aubrey's body), the neck on a CP body would be too thin for a Camine head, proportionally.

      It's going to be a *little* big on the DOT female body, but I think that her neck is probably going to be closer to the appropriate size and shape.
